Stayed at this hotel for at least past 10 years every year.Was always good previously. This time very bad experience.Checked in late nite on 9th mar [10th mar 0100hr.]. Check-in Front Desk staff mr. Arvind..very rude, not courteous ..and terrible Liar. Gave Standard Room[207] instead of Executive room and when i told him it is a Standard room, he Insisted it was executive room. Since booking was for ACCOMMODATION ONLY, no free breakfast,and no free transport and check-out was 12 noon.[ Arvin gave me free breakfast][ Previously check-out was 24 hours from check-in.] I personally know the layout of standard,deluxe, and executive rooms in the hotel from previous experience. But Mr.Arvin still insisted it is not standard room and made me look very stupid.But since it was very late and was tired,no time for argument and retired to bed. Next morning-10th- at about 0900 hr. informed Front Desk manager Elango about not given executive room and he said if have any vacant, will provide executive room.[now given slight compensation of free transport to airport and late check-out] . When arrived late on 10th nite -2300hr, Arvind changed room to 311[deluxe] after i complained 207 was unbearable. So was not provided executive room for one and one-half days and given deluxe room for half-day from 10th nite 2300 hr. Mr.Arvind must never be employed at front desk and a disgrace and shame to the hotel-told so many lies. Mr. Vasanth was very pleasant and tried level best to make me happy. [the room maintenance staff are very useless. no repairs done at toilet- even though door knob loose etc. .....

I made reservation a day in advance so that not to face any challenges as I was making check in next day early morning. I reached hotel after 9am only, and No luggage assistance. Check in was smooth. However upon arrival, room was not ready as expected. anyhow one of the guy came and took me to the room. even though he saw me taking 3 luggage together, still didn't even offer any assistance. I booked for big bed however got twin bedded room. when I entered the room, a used inner wear t-shirt was lying on bed. I asked about it to the guy who was escorting me, but he didn't even feel sorry for it. I think he was expecting me to clear it until I told him to do so. Thought to settle as I was very tired after long night journey, but no electricity ! again informed reception and waited for people to come and change my room. this time I got a better room. In general, my arrival experience was really terrific. Happy for service given by receptionist a mid aged spectacle guy viswam or srenivas something like that. and room service guy Selvam (am sorry If names are not right). Given me late check out which was a good thing. Hotel staff need to know more about customer handlings.

Hats off to the owner, Hussain bhai. Such a gentleman. Always on toes, big heart, ready to help, hands on. Treated us extremely well as we were stuck in chennai during the cyclone. Will remember this good experience, thanks Hussain bhai again

Good location, bit old but calm and pleasant stay. nice front office staff very cooperative. very near to airport and other prime locations, eassy access to metro/local stations. Maintained clean and neat. kudos to cleaning staff

Hotel is in good place near to st. Thomas railway station and the room is not clear and lift also not working and the bathroom also not clean and hot water is not available in the room
