Praia da Oura Resort Hotel is an amazing place to stay at. The property is just 3 minutes away from Majorda beach. The owner, Mrs. Maria, a Portuguese's granddaughter, with her kindness and politeness makes our stay so pleasant! She is always with a big smile and takes care of every detail to make the guests comfortable. By the way, she speaks Portuguese quite well. The rooms are spacious, with a beautiful and elegant architecture, sophisticated furniture and great interior design. The staff is always helpful and friendly. If you need to rent a car to drive around at a good price, just get in touch with Immanuel, at the reception of Praia da Oura Resort Hotel, he always has fair and good options for you. Right by the beach there's a restaurant called Mishmar Beach Shack, owned by Camilo and managed by the great Antonio. Antonio treats everyone like kings. He gives us the right suggestions about food, the beach and surrounding places, and he is such a friendly and kind person, that we don't want to go to any other Shack in that beach besides his. They have a diverse menu, delicious food, and the place is filled with joy and positive energy. Antonio always makes sure that we have a good spot right by the shore to see the sunset and enjoy the view of the sea. That is the place you wanna be when visiting South Goa, Majorda Beach and Utorda Beach. What we saw and experienced there is exactly what we described in detaisl to you above. So, coming to Goa, just enjoy, that is a wonderful place with great people.

Praia da oura is strategically located between Majorda and Betalbatim Beach..beach is hardly 5 min walking from hotel. However, location is very secluded and no other construction is nearby 100m, which may give chills to some people. Definitely not recommended to stay in off-season, we were only 3 guests throughout the property, so it was lonely for us. Wifi also does not work properly. However, other facilities like front desk experience was good, food was good, though they only serve limited items and only breakfast. You will get a fruit bowl with seasonal fruits, veg will get idli sambar, nonveg will get omelette. You can request to make something on request, if traveling in groups or staying on a business trip. Pool is big and clean. They don't have any indoor games or books for entertainment, so it is advisable that you bring yours along. Parking is ample so you can bring your own vehicle (which you will obviously need here). Rooms are cozy but beautiful and has a big balcony as well. All the fittings inside the room are premium. Beware of stray dogs on the street when walking outside, especially at night.

Very nice rooms, superb staff and very close to the Majroda beach makes the place a great spot. Meeting the owner Mr. Alex was indeed a great memory and we had a great chat. Looking forward to return back sometime soon.
