We swapped tales over firecamp, explored the city together, and formed bonds that I know will last a lifetime. I ended up extending my trip just to soak it all in – that's how amazing the people were and the atmosphere here. If you're looking for more than just a bed, if you're looking for a genuine connection with fellow travelers, this is the spot" I had a very pleasant stay there. in one word, i loved it. as a soloist traveler i want to meet new people so i opted for zostel kodaikanal, initially i planned for 4 days only but i met some very interesting people and i loved vibe there so much that i extended my stay to 1 week. it is approx 2 km from bus stand if you have less luggage you can reach by foot easily. i like the food too, they don’t have so much options but it was tasty, prices are also nominal. staff was supportive, polite and helpful, friendly. overall it is safe for solo girls and really fun.

So Zostel Kodaikanal is a magical place for traveling where they offer an amazing view of the Kodai town with the mountains. People we met there were amazing and the vibe is So chill that you'll just go on extending your stay like we did.Yeah and special mention for the staff here, These guys will treat you amazingly and will help you with literally everything( yeah everything😂).

Beautiful space and well maintained dorms. Walkable location from town if you're into walks. Peaceful and calm atmosphere. Good North Indian food at the cafe, South Indian food is below average. Food is overpriced though, but no complaints because in such a location you're getting good food itself is a great thing.

The stay was very good experience there. Rooms were very clean and the staffs were very friendly. The location of the zostel kodaikanal is also at the very good place surrounded with nature and foods were also nice. The bonfire at the night with my friends was the cherry on top.

The Hosteller is Just Little away from the City . But it is so good . I can say best Hotel Ever , Looks & Feels Like a Resort, Supportive Staff, Too Hygienic and Clean Rooms & All Because Solo Travelling Provide Freedom. And Also I can Go anywhere according to my decision.

food was good,hot water was up to the mark, service was really good, common area was very nice and big but little bit far from the market area but I enjoyed a lot met so many new friends, I am already 57 years old but then also I enjoyed my solo vacation

Zostel is the best place in Kodaikanal to stay and view the scenery from there. staff is very helpful and nice. one can make many friends here. best is to book 8 bed dorm instead of 6 bed dorm

value for money. I booked for a driver and saw its interior and location it was fine. I paid 750. same day I was sleeping in another room for 2600 in kodai plaza which was worst.

Great stay, great location, great staff, peaceful atmosphere. Average food and overpriced is the only drawback. But plenty of food places around which are walkable.
