Radisson Blu Hotel & Suites GRT Chennai Airport

it was a four day family stay around a weekend in radisson blu airport. i know it’s one of the pricier hotels in chennai. but the convenience of it being near the airport with good pickup and drop deals made it the obvious choice. we had our extended family visiting us from the usa and taking the elders for a short visit. so we had six airport visits. all of them flawlessly arranged by the 24 hour hotel travel desk. kudos to them. so the location suited that purpose perfectly. we also had a couple of hospital visits to sims vadapalani and ramachandra. i would have loved to take the metro which i did for a couple of times but either side you have to take an inconvenient walk for half an hour through the city traffic so took ola mostly. they come in at short notice if you promise to pay them 50 or 100 more but no other go. some form of connectivity to the metro would have saved the earth from the pollution. so i’ll give a 4 star for the location. the property is clean and well maintained. the room has got just enough space and the ipad controls everything including the lights curtains and the mood! water bottles are one too many and is also immediately available at the press of the magic ‘1’ button. yes, the front desk responds in minutes at a formula one tyre change speed, yah truly. storage cupboards are of standard size but the closets and rain showers are luxuriously appointed. there are three restaurants on site and each one of them is a culinary delight. first few drinks are on the house and that’s truly an amazing touch. i miss a sports bar though to watch the big screen ipl, but it comes close. facilities are a 5 star but then how do you even rate the ever-friendly service staff. where do they come from? heaven? they take care of every one of your needs and you’re spoilt. if your keys don’t work, if you miss your breakfast or even if you don’t want to be seen by your family member, you just have to ask. one example: nayan was serving us breakfast and i remembered the ‘valluvan- vasuki’ from the myth when he brought in the finger bowl after the hand-eaten dosa! truly amazing! definitely recommend

Close to airport .Check-in was smooth.Staffs are good and friendly.Rooms are very good and kept very well.Fitness centre is very good and very well managed. Staffs in the restaurant are good and courteous.Food quality is OK ,needs to be improved. Overall very good experience and would highly recommend.Stayed here for 2nd time and would always prefer this hotel first.

This hotel is located nearby Chennai Airport, Excellent hotel to stay in with all the new technologies. The reception area and staff are excellent and the rooms here have wireless charging for phones, with motion sensor lights must consider this hotel if want to stay nearby the airport.

we booked a room for one night only.room was super comfortable .breakfast had a huge spread and tasty too.staff are courteous and ready to help out.24 hour coffee shop also was good as we checked in late though on the expensive side but that's understandable.good value for money.
