Kumbakonam is a Tier 2/3 City in the state of Tamilnadu, so getting a Hotel with the kind of amenities at par with a 3 star hotel in any metro city is a wonderful experience. Frankly, when we travel to any tier 3 city, we always tone down our expectations, but this hotel has totally exceeded our expectation. Pros: 1. Family Crowd 2.Non Smoking Rooms and General Lobby 3. Friendly & Cooperating & Non staring Staff 4. Decent Restaurant - North Indian Food is manageable, South Indian Food is Good 5.Clean and Spacious Rooms 6.Heart of the City Cons: Particularly No Cons , But for few of them who are used to soft pillows, might not like the pillows since they are medium hard.

Hotel is in good location. Over all service Quality is good. Restaurant looks outside Hotel and mainly servicing for general public. Looks no relationship between restaurant and Hotel. They tried to adjust and give good service, if we say we are staying in Hotel. Food Quality is good. Hotel Service and Rooms maintenance and all other things are good. Have sufficient man power for each service. They understand the service industry and overall it is very good and value for money. Especially for guests with family, it is the best option.

Awesome hotel. Large clean rooms. Spacious bathrooms. Connecting rooms for family and kids. Excellent service and very fast response. Ultimate location opposite mahamaham tank. Great food, large portions. From front desk to house keeping and security all are friendly and helpful.

out stay in rayas grand was very pleasant. rooms are well made luxurious and neat. the location is in the middle of the town and very near to station making it much easier to access place near and far. very clean and well made rooms with a nice view of temples.
