Resort Saikat Saranya

From our check in to check out, every moment we felt like worst experience ever. If there would be any star below 0, I would like to give this resort, specially staffs and manager. Service quality is zero.We checked in around 3pm where check in time was 11am. Even after 4 hours,their room was not ready, we have to wait for 30 minutes outside. Then we requested the manager to give us another room and the manager just shouted on us, extremely disappointing behaviour after just check in even when the fault was their. Then come to the funniest point. They don't know what a mocktail is and they are running a resort. Except the swimming pool this has just nothing. Staffs are extremely unprofessional.Not even know that how to talk with a guest. If you want to go there to spend your vacation your time and money will be a waste. In the evening we asked for two chairs to sit outside,they can't even provide a chair. We asked to play music.They played music for around two minutes and then turned it off. They don't even have thumbs up ( a well known cold drinks). Food quality is just worst. You will cry to see the size of a fish finger. And they charged extra money when the menu card shows different prices. We asked them for chicken 65,they gave us dry chilli chicken. Then come to the complementary breakfast. In respect of other famous resorts of mandarmoni we expected buffet complementary breakfast. They told us there are very few guests,so buffet is not available. We will provide what you will order ( previous day evening). Next morning when we ordered for breakfast they are telling us that only toast and Puri sabji are available for complementary breakfast,other than that everything is chargeable.Even tea and omlette are not in their list of complementary breakfast which we all eat usually in breakfast. They also told that we will have to pay for omlette. So we checked out immediately without having our breakfast. Moreover,just a third class resort. If you really want to enjoy your holiday don't go there.

At checkout, we informed the reception that due to bus schedules at noon, we would require an extra hour before departing—a request to which they initially agreed. However, at 10 AM, the air conditioning was deliberately turned off, causing significant inconvenience as we prepared to leave. When we inquired about this action, the receptionist offered no explanation and behaved unprofessionally. Furthermore, the dining experience was unsatisfactory. The food options were inflexible, offering no opportunity for customization, and the tea served was of noticeably poor quality. Even after requesting a different tea, we found no improvement—only an increase in price without any enhancement in taste. In fact, a modestly priced alternative elsewhere would likely surpass the quality offered. Overall, the resort’s policies and service level suggest a three-star standard at best. Despite the facility’s open layout, restrictive and poorly implemented rules—such as the premature shutdown of amenities—result in a diminished guest experience and an uninviting atmosphere.

Hotel Saikat Saranya is an amazing property with beautiful huge Rooms & Washrooms, all very neat & clean. There are also some stand-alone cottages. There is a lawn with children's play area & sparkling clean swimming pool. The Restaurant is housed in a separate building & is also huge & neat & clean. The cooking is excellent & staff very co-operative & amicable. The only two negatives we found about the property is the absence of electric kettles in the Rooms & a Lift in the 3-storied Main Building.

just love the resort, it's very neat and clean, The staff are very well, it's preparation of foods are very testy, rooms are very good in size and well furnished....i booked at price 2200 if fair...
