a hidden gem by the beach!
as goans wrapping up our south india trip, we chose agonda for a peaceful beach day—and we’re so glad we did! the secret garden truly lives up to its name: tucked away from the road, it’s a cozy, charming stay right on the shore. the staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the lush garden added to the serenity. the beach view was stunning, and the location is perfect for those seeking a quiet escape. breakfast at their partner restaurant nearby was also good. highly recommended for a relaxing beachside stay!

Booked Sea View AC Huts. Pros:1.Good Location2. Rooms and Hotels are very well Maintained as per the price3. Tea Maker4. Good and helpful staff5. Parking Space availableCons:1. No Wardrobes or Almirah available. Only Wooden Shelf Rack was there.2. Tea Maker available but Tea, Sugar and Milk pouches are given only for 1st day of stay.3. Great location, property is right on the beach. The beach itself is secluded, not very crowded. Perfect place for a laidback and peaceful time. The only reason I did not give a 5 is the Wi-fi network provided by the property, which was not working at all.

The property is located right on the beach. It has a homely environment ran by Mr. Fernandez. The staff is courteous and approachable. The rooms are maintained very well. The restaurant is located outside the property and one has to walk a little from the beach. Overall, it was a good stay.

i just came back from beach and found that there was no light in only my room. where as there was light in every other room. There was not a single person at reception. I was all wet and looking for concern person in whole hotel, but found no one for half an hour. actually light was not there from 3 pm. I informed this to caretaker at 3.30 pm. This hotel is situated at the beach and the place is serene. One who wants to be around the beach and less human, this is the place. However, there were some areas of improvement which needs immediate attention. First, they have construction going around the whole area as they are building more huts for guests and there is a lot of Noise going on. We stayed in two types of room - beach hut and deluxe beach room. The beach rooms were costlier. The beach hut were sea facing whereas the deluxe rooms were spacious and the good thing ends there. Goa as a whole as power outage problem and that's the truth but this property did not have that. The A.C in the A.C rooms were not working for 95% of the day and staying in a small room (beach hut) becomes a real struggle, to the point we felt claustrophobic.
