Everything was good. A bit overpriced but location was good. They spoiled it on checkout. They asked me to check my baggage for a missing hand towel. Don't they understand that if someone pays a whooping sum of approx 10000 for 17 hours stay, it's not for a hand towel. My wife was asked to go to the room again and check if she had misplaced it somewhere. My whole trip was spoiled due to this and I had no answers to my wife why I chose this property. Disastrous behaviour. Mental Harrasment is what they do to you.

Food was bad .. for everything they charge comission . We booked our own boat ride for the morning and paid the boat man directly and even after they charged us taxes of 300 rs not sure why... Room service is bad

Very poor design of the rooms as there is no window and no power plugs in any of the rooms at the property. Room service is very poor. Non-professional staff as it looks likes not from hotel industry. Pathetic experience and the manager of hotel says every guest cannot get everything 🤣😡

We had a very short stay in the hotel but the location was amazing... staff was very cooperative and the food was above average. Keeping in mind the amalgamation of ambience and heritage property the cost is worth an experience.

My stay in this hotel was decent , neither great nor bad. The rooms were very neat and clean. I took two riverside rooms and honestly its not that big an advantage over normal standard rooms as you get only one rectangular shaped , sealed glass window to have a view of the Ganga from the room. The window is not that big and placed towards the floor so one needs to bend to see the river. (3/5 for me) Due to covid times all the dishes were not being served due to unavailability. A nice and comfortable place to stay at Ghats and enjoy sunrise at Ganges , walk around at Ghats. Food Thali was awesome. Kanhaiya and Shanker were very helpful. Receptionist too was nice to behave with ever smiling face.

Wonderful boutique hotel right on the banks of the river Ganga at Shivala Ghat. Though you can't drive a car to the hotel, it's just 5 mins walk from the main road and the hotel staff offers free porter services to carry your luggage. This is a 300 year old Haveli converted to a Hotel offering a perfect mix of tradition and modernity. We were ghven a traditional welcome with a vermillion tilak to the forehead along with scarf.
