My stay on 28/2 and 1/3 was practically horrible.Staying at dhanalaxmi is horrible indeed.Please don't go and stay at Dhanalaxmi.The water is not always available. You may not get water in the toilet.On request hotel boys told motor switched on and will get water after 10 minutes but actually did not on the switch.So be careful.

Definitely not a 2 star hotel, just an ordinary budget hotel. We went there in Nov, 17 and renovation work was going on, so how it will be after that don't know.

As mentioned in every review. receptionist person was such hard person. may be he should have been in to military service. He was not allowed me without providing Printout of the Receipt. I showed Goibibo sms and Invoice but still he wanted Printout. taking print out is not a easy job in Portblair. I booked for two days. Vacated room by first day itself because of the quality of the rooms. lost 1550Rs. Horrible experience.

hotel was okay i just have to stay for night only so couldn't comment so much
hotel is near to ross island, cellular jail and some good Restaurants is there near by, this hotel is in market so its very noisy around there please take care of this

This was my second stay. This time Manager was good and co-operative. Bed linen was not up to the mark. Service by staff was very good. Food quality has changed a bit more better. Amenities like charging points, locker & cupboards needs to be improvised. Over all good as far as location is concerned for those willing to stay near by main market and heart of the city.

The hotel was good. The staff was nice. The location is at walkable distance from cellular jail. The food was good. The hotel is in the main market and near to most tourist spots. It is a good budget hotel for a nice stay at Port Blair.

..They shifted to another room as the light in bathroom was not operational and I had to spent one night with that out of my booked 2 nights. Staff were very cordial except the manager, observed many times interacting very rudely with the customers. Beds were of low quality and they said TV not for Non-AC rooms even though it was present in the room. Food generally rich with oil. With same price tag one can get better and AC rooms in that Aberdeen Bazar area. Definitely not like to recommend to any kind of travelers.
