the place is average rooms are very small and hostel space is also very small not as big as shown in images. staffs are friendly and nice.

The hosts are very considerate and helpful. Polite and professional. The location is very good and it's value for money hostel.
Washroom could be a little better. Though washrooms are clean, they're very small and old fashioned.
Can surely stay if you're with friends or solo.

I recently stayed at Eness Hostel, and while the cleanliness was well-maintained, the overall experience didn’t meet my expectations. The room was quite small, and surprisingly, no lock was provided for the door. We had to leave our valuable items inside the room without being able to secure them. When we asked for locks for the cupboards, they said it would require extra payment, which was disappointing.Although footwear wasn’t allowed, the kitchen was well-equipped with utensils, and the terra ...more

This was a phenomenal place to stay. Pondichery has some lovely people, and this hostel is no exception.
The people working at the hostel were so helpful and kind. Great people with great vibes.
They have a washing machine which you can use for free.
If you need to cook, they let you use their kitchen.
The room has perfectly(and I mean perfectly) working AC and fan.
This hostel and the people working there made my stay in Pondichery a lot better. I totally recommend.

Well, One of the staff was rude. I did tell the owner about it and he was little embarrassed. However, I might give another star for location and cleanliness but then behaviour needs to be improved.
