I checked in around 8pm.as soon as I reached the hotel manager or owner demanded me two thousand rupees extra for check in.i surprised and asked why.his answer is horrible.if you want you pay and enter into the room otherwise get out.then finially i have paid two thousand rupees extra because we went with our own wife also as I'm a senior citizen i can't fight with these people.also I'm not understanding who is responsible for all these types of nonsense to finish.further after paying two thousa ...more

Hotel Green Haven lacks the basic amenities and it seems to be an old building converted to hotel without facilities of any kind of amenities. You name any amenities and u wont get it. I asked for electric kettle it was not there even if u look for some cutlery the hotel is unable to provide leave alone plates and dishes. Bathroom flush was not working from morning to evening had to follow up 10 times to get it done. Bedsheets were torn and dirty and so were the walls and pillows. Only good thin ...more

The room are spacious but the only issue we faced was on the cleanliness part, the bucket kept in the washroom was dirty, even the bedsheets were worn out & torn at some plcaes. For heater, we had to call the service boy to switch on the heater everytime we wanted hot water which was a bit inconvenience. The fan made noise the whole night, there was dust on the floor & furniture. It's a 2 star hotel within Madikeri. Staffs behaviour was good. For the price really average. Got an average room with attached bathroom with no toiletries and no towals even though it was mentioned it was available while booking. Limited parking, we got the parking in the streets. Good thing is the location of this hotel, walkable distance to Raja's seat and lot of restaurants nearby. For a quick night stay this is good.

The location of this hotel is very convenient. Only one advantage! There is no lift . You have to survive with cold water as hot water is available only on request with specific time. There was non working tv in the room. No room service. No restaurant as well . Rooms window curtains also shorter than the window ... be careful about your privacy.room size was good better than other hotel. Request the management to look into such matters .

location is very good
although you will not order the food frok hotel itself but they can arrange food for you
but there is nearby food points like pakshala and Udupi so no issue you are going to face
they also arrange taxi for your trip to abbey falls and dubare camp
they are supportive
