The hotel is located in a great area, very pleasant to be around, wonderful scenery, but the rooms and food at the restaurant in the hotel were not up to the mark, that needs a lot of improvement...

The cottage was clean and view is nice...however, hospitality was very poor...no timely room service.
For breakfast, they attend only customers who pay and have breakfast. For buffet customers, they didn't pay kuch attention.

Room was good .Complimentary breakfast also good .The restaurant dinner food was not upto standard ,Price was high compared to what they served .Need to improve dinner food and quality .other ways a good option specially for family with kids .

stay was good and hotel was clean. it's operated by kstdc in an old building. standard rooms are ok and are in old building. attached restaurant has got decent food. the staff are very courteous. major plus point is the location which is inside the karnataka horticulture garden in ooty. the garden is very beautiful and neatly maintained. you will get the feeling of a resort. there is direct entry for guests to the garden.

Wonderful Stay with Great Views and Exceptional Staff
I had a delightful stay at KSTDC Hotel Mayura Sudarshan, Ooty. The hotel is nestled within a beautifully maintained garden, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere—a perfect place to unwind in nature.

We stayed there with children and senior citizen parents. we stayed in wooden cottages, we liked the garden( siri), view, and morning breakfast.

Rooms are old, but well maintained.
Bed sheets had stains but smelled good. so it's fine.
Best part is the garden. it's very big and beautiful.
service is good and staff are responsive.
free breakfast provided had good options. we liked it.
night time only North Indian food available with few options.
overall we had a pleasant stay.
