best place to stay in Kottayam, it's on a private property, beautiful place with lots of trees, you will eat home cooked food, little bit far from main city, Auto charged 250 Rs to come here, Kayaking is best here

Went as a group of 3 guys, as we had to attend a conference. We just booked this place as it was cheap, but to our surprise, it was an AMAZING experience. It actually felt like home, the house is fully furnished and you even have boardgames to pass time. We could spend only little time here, and we wished we could spend a bit more. Name of the stay is very apt for it... If u have the personal vehicle, this is very nice and pleasant location. I travelled with 1.5 Yrs kid, my daughter was very much relaxed and played all around the home stay. One who lives in concrete jungle, this stay is a treat to eye and mind. Raju(Owner) and family was very much friendly, never felt that we are staying in someone's home..felt as if it was ours...

all amenities as per photo. carrom,chess,fridge,ring etc are provided. a kitchen is also available.you can cook food there. rooms are clean and neat. there is backwater also.we take an hour long ride for 500 ₹ in a traditional boat. we got AC room at *₹☺. note that room is away from kumarakom. still more value for less money.
