We enjoyed our stay at Lehostel. The rooms were really good and the views from the room were beautiful. We were able to see Leh Palace and Jamia Masjid from our rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

The Hostel is very nice, clean, good location.
The staff is helpful and friendly.
Brother Tashi is very kind hearted!
Lehostel is very beautiful roof top view, we can enjoy the view of Leh Palace and Tsemo. Castle !

I had a horrible experience during my stay in this hostel. Initially, I was staying in Hotel El castello and then shifted to LeHostel. There was no running water in any of the taps of our dorm washroom. We were told that it is because the water freezes during winter months which is a lie because other properties like zostel and el castello still had tap water facilities. the hostel did not provide us a kettle in temperatures like -20 in leh at night. and also even upon requesting they did not give us the immersion heating rod for water . could not even take a bath there
i had to return the aloo paratha they made coz there was hardly any aloo in it. they later came back with another.
response of the people there is pathetic .

Lah hostel is very close to lah market. Hostel staff surgeon boss is a good person. Especially in my room everything is good , but there is no geaser and heat piller is too small. Perhaps other room are excellent

the private room we booked with private balcony was useless. we end up not using it at all so one planning to be here can opt for without balcony one at lesser price.
the food was horrible and don’t rely on the food, but room was alright and clean hospitality was good. they even arrange for a rental bike, which was a hasslefree arrangement. do check with the property first before booking for any query, you may have regarding discounts for things to do in leh.
