It's a fantastic property. It's basically a cottage & is very close to nature as the forest is located very near to it. The property is very neat & clean & the overall ambiance of the place is very peaceful & even the view from here is very beautiful as well. The room was very cosy & comfy. Overall we had very pleasant & refreshing stay here.

My overall stay was very average in the property. There were lots of mosquitoes and cats in the dinning area which is very unhygienic for health.

pros:
If you love jungle, you will enjoy Machaan and it's surroundings. But if you are expecting 5 star luxury, this is not the right place for you.
Safari was nicely arranged. Although could not spot big cats and elephants, but overall jungle tour and other animal spotting was really good.
Food is good and like home made. Special thanks to Mr. Somu for his great hospitality. He really bothers to make the customers happy.
Rooms are pretty decent and spacious and with great jungle view.

Food & service were very good. Staff is decent. But amenities were very poor. Walking dogs and cats scare you. Reception area is an old house. That itself is the recreation centre but no proper equipment. Horible mud road. In toto Not value for money 😢

Nice, Calm and wonderful stay in Machaan Nagarhole. Delicious food and hospitality. Cute cats at restaurant and free roaming dogs will make your stay pleasant. Pathway to stay from road can be done better. Do try Estate walk in morning and beware of mosquitos.

The path from the toad to the stay must be renovate and place proper route map from the road to the stay
