The hotel is situated exactly opposite to the Mahabalipuram bus stand; 5mins walk to the Arjuna Penance and Mahabalipuram beach. The Hotel room is the basic type, you can get a good hotel in this rate. The bed is not clean, bathroom is in very bad condition. Overall i would not recommend this place to a married couple.

1- food both veg & nonveg are excellent
2- location wise excellent
3- price wise good but when we do not want extra bed for our 9year kid still they charged as adult, this is mot good , bcz i have not paid anywhere in my 7 days trip (kanyakumari, madurai, rameswaram, pondi)

we really enjoyed our stay at hotel mahabs. the highlights are very well maintained rooms, lots of greenery, awesome restaurant, excellent location and helpful staff.

It was a peaceful stay at the hotel but mosquitoes were annoying.The staff were supportive and the location deserves a 5 star!

Work in progress rooms has been allotted where no access to go.
Mosquito are in the room but no repellent provided , bed with 2 single cushion gap in between irritating things .
One friend coming to meet us security guard questioning them many times which they feel annoying.

We enjoyed staying at Hotel Mahabs. Really as mentioned it's a Village in the City.
The atmosphere is so good.It's budget friendly.The food too tastes good. The swimming pool is very clean & nice.Well maintained.
