VERY SERENE AND BEAUTIFUL PLACE. JUST 2 KMS FROM TUNGNATH TEMPLE. CAMP SITE IS GOOD. HOMELY FOOD. HOSPITABLE FOOD. SOLAR LIGHTING IS AVAILABLE WHICH IS AVAILABLE FEOM SUNSET.

stay was very good the staff is very courteous Harish helped us all the way down from road towards up to the resort for luggage as the resort is in midst of jungle 100 metres away from road The food was very good There is no electricity as everything runs on solar so during our stay there was snow so no sunlight and no power the tents have enough blankets to keep warm we got hot water for bathing in morning overall the stay was good

The location of camp is just below the Chopta Viewpoint.. 1 bend downhill . The camps are surrounded by Pine trees in the Meadow on a slope providing breathtaking view of Kedar Khadi and other peaks ... a wide view of Himalayas making a memorable forest camp stay.. While other camp resorts are located in the open meadow just near the roadside and with full view of Himalayas, the Mandakini camping site is different. location is good ... although we booked place with all meals but when we reach the destination after 8 hours of drive we didn't get a lunch ,the owner was not available there and care takers were unaware of our booking ...this is not professional,although after that we have been taken care well.
