the picture of the hotel is actually the house of the host. guest room is on the back side of the house. room very small. bedsheet was very old and maybe washed minimum 100 times before serving us.
however these small things could have been overlooked but the attack of mosquitoes was unbearable. even though host have used nets onto the door and window, they mercilessly attacked us from 10pm to 4am

It is very good place to stay in Alleppey. It's location is very prime. It's on boat jetty road just infront of the house you can get lots of Boat jetty rides available, it's nearer to finishing point (Boarding point for house boat) if you have booked Houseboat to stay . just opposite side of Boat jetty rides KSRTC BUS stand is there to catch government bus. and if you have booked any private bus , all buses will come on YMCA junction on YMCA road, which is also 10 mins ride using auto/cab. and ...more

The homestay is very decent not very fancy but very well maintained. It is exactly next to the back water boating starting point. The owner is from army and very sweet and helpful person. He helped us to book the shikara boat in best price and also guided us to a restaurant which served authentic food.

This property is located near to Punamada Back waters. Choose this property only if you don't have any other options. Rooms are old and smelly. No hot water. No towels. It is a home stay. You will get complimentary water bottle and blankets. Swiggy and Zomata is available to this property.
