Not good place to stay. lots of cockroach in the room . If you fill comfortable with cockroaches then you can visit this place . very dirty room , dirty blanket and bed given ..

The photos doesn't match with the property. It's an old structure, the cleanliness was also not good. It's tariff was high as per my experience.

worst experience ever in matheran with this omlar cottage. they gave wifi password which is not recharged from i dont know how many years.. it wasn't working at all.. Rooms were not clean at all. no towels provided no soap or anything.. no service.. nobody ever comes to see whether anyone is there or left..the guy who accompanied the room and one and only one time i ever got an opportunity to meet him.. said that he have two places to watch, the guy worked in omkar cottage left the job.. coz he ...more

solo travellers are not allowed in the property.
booking of single guest should not be allowed at the first place if it is so.
I have to vacate the room at 11pm night on 1nov only.

....Service is also not as as expected. Problem of frequent electricity shut down, The only way to call for the room service is shout and call. Located interior hence accessibility is a challenge from the main market area.
