Good things first:
1. Owner was sweet and helpful
2. Lake view is across the street and not in the hostel (but not a big deal) - it is worth chilling
3. Food is not overpriced
Bad things:
1. Staff don't have basic etiquettes
2. Location is not good (as one has to either to off roading to reach the hostel quickly via highway OR drive 5km extra to get to the main road).
3. Washroom door didn't work. You have to use the one available outside the dorm or sing a song (so that no one opens it while ...more

I recently stayed at South Goa Riversong Bliss and had a mixed experience. The room was clean and comfortable, which was a definite plus. However, the location was quite off the beaten path and far from Palolem Beach, which might be a downside for those looking to enjoy the beach life.
