nice stay with good view.. rooms were clean and staff was very helpful.. since it has only 3 cottage the place doesnt feel crowded..worth visiting this place if you need relaxing and peaceful outing we visited on friday.. drive from mumbai is 3.5 hours if dont take long stops.. rooms are nice with good view.. having a garden place outside to hangout.. tv also has fire stick if you want to watch some netflix.. food is also nice.. it is served on the porch outside the room so you can enjoy the meal with a good view..

The room stinked of sewage throughout my stay. The stench intensified post midnight and i spent a sleepless night. vacation ruined. Not expected from saffronstays and never going to book a property through them. The extra bucks we pay for something premium is not really worth it.

The pics give an impression as though the resort is sea-facing, however it's not. Firstly, it's not sea but the backwaters. Secondly, there is a good 2km walk to backwaters. The beach is a disputed property abd hence we couldn't even step out towards backwaters - apparently the villagers have issues with tourists using the access road to backwaters. And hence there was policemen deployed through one of the nights - a terrible hurdle to privacy! So technically, it's not a sea-facing resort. This was major disappointment.

Location serene calm lazy may be lonely scary for some. cottages good but no proper lighting. Like One switch for multiple high voltage lights, switches not closed to bed, lights in verandah are dim, no direct beach access because of newly built naval road, pets of other members may be disturbing to some, swings slides required inside complex for children, need to plant more trees, Care Taker Jehangir & his wife Fatima are excellent cooks & host. Beautiful property, cleaned and sanitized room. Staff and Owner were very cooperative. Service was very good. Beach access was easy from resort. My 2 year kid enjoyed a lot and he explored all the corners of the resort himself.

Property is bit on higher price so not value for money as per my experience. Overall stay was excellent didn't have any problem with their services and hospitality. Complimentary breakfast was provided. Behavior of the staff was good. Located outskirt.
