We stayed at the bungalow and felt like royals! John and his entire staff were amazing and their hospitality is by far the best we experienced. Right from serving us home cooked food, to climbing the trees to give us tasty local lychees, to surprising me and my husband with amazing cake and decorations for our anniversary... they did it all. Thank you Stanmore team. 🙏🏽 My kids were very well taken care of by the staff, and John was extremely helpful in getting together our travel itinerary so that the kids could enjoy their time here.

Excellent location and awesome food. Very hospitable people. Great views. Rooms were good. If the doors are closed then there are no insects problems. Overall it was a good experience.

Stanmore makes for a fantastic, quiet and rustic stay in Valparai. An original Tea Estate Bungalow, its full of history and heritage. The area around Stanmore makes for great birding walks. The views are among the best in Valparai. Service is great, and so is the food. Highly recommended.
