What truly set Kaal Hotel apart, however, was its impeccable service. From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel’s management team was extremely accommodating, ensuring that our family had everything we needed, from extra blankets to customized meal requests.

the stay was good with great food and great view of the mountains - the air con rooms at the kaal was great as it was very hot in leh when we go here - the service was top notch

Booked 4 rooms well in advance. When we reached the hotel they said booking was not confirmed. After much argument they allotted us rooms in nearby property which was less known. The whole process seems to be a regular practice. Goibibo must look into this type of listed hotels which are involved in such malpractices causing traveller great hassle and harrasment

Hotel The Kaal made our Ladakh trip extra special. The rooms were clean with stunning mountain views, and the peaceful vibe was perfect. My friends kept telling me great job booking this hotel . We loved relaxing in the garden after sightseeing. Staff was warm and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The service of the hotel is pathetic. When we reached hotel, the staff told us that there's some issue with the room and they asked us to shift to their another hotel "Hotel Zomday". We went to check hotel Zomday, the rooms were big but it was totally vacant. So, we denied to stay in Hotel Zomday and when we complained that they should have taken care of the room in advance, they made us wait for 30 minutes and then offered the room. The service was too slow.....We ordered lunch and had to wait for almost an hour to get our order.

My stay at Hotel Kaal in Leh, Ladakh was exceptional. The staff's hospitality and support were outstanding. After a grueling trip to Pangong, where the heat was unbearable and my son unfortunately fell ill, the hotel management went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They generously upgraded our room to an executive room at no extra cost, which was a huge relief. The rooms were spacious, immaculately maintained, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. It was a great stay at Kaal. The service was truly commendable — the manager was very attentive, courteous, and always ready to help. This is my second time staying at kaal and the food has always been delicious.
What truly sets this place apart is its location. Just about 5 mins from airport. It offers a perfect blend of village life with convenience of being close to the city.
As usual I highly recommend The Kaal for anyone visiting Leh for its warm hospitality, perfect food and great views.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price
We booked two suite rooms and unfortunately, both turned out to be a complete nightmare. The shower drainage was poor, hot water wasn’t working properly, and the fresh air fan was completely non-functional. Despite raising these issues with the staff, no one seemed to care — possibly because we had already made a full advance payment.

booked 4 rooms at The Kaal well in advance. But they denied and apologized. Instead they provide us with 4 rooms nearby in less popular property. As they acted so swiftly it must be their regular practice and pre-determined. such practices must be discouraged and must be looked after with serious concern.
