Poor Hotel with poorest location and services. Don't book it for any cost. Breakfast menu is also very bad. There are so many other properties available nearby at very best price and awesome services like Hotel Aries Grand. Location very far from main market and airport.

Hotel is located about 4km from Airport. Rooms facing back are having good view. They serve decent breakfast at the top floor. At the ground floor there is a bar. Hotel manager and staffs were cooperative. Auto rickshaw normally takes about Rs.40 to Aberdeen bazar (early 2021). Choice of exploring of your own.

I think this is the BEST hotel to stay in Port Blair. And I have my reasons.. 1. Perfect Location: Not too far from the Airport, this location is just in the right location. Hills and Ocean visible from rooms. Market in walkable distance. Activa for hire just opposite the hotel. 2. Excellent Staff: Anirban, the manager at The Tamarind Tree, is one of the nicest people I have met. Soft spoken, courteous, polite, helpful and smart. Bikram, the staff boy, is super sweet. Nice rooms with beautiful rooftop restaurant but service is not that good. Staff not that friendly and is bit away from the main city area

clean rooms and good service, we had a good stay in tamarind tree hotel, needs improvement on wifi facility... Aravind and two other staffs were really good in doing the room service... restaurant needs an improvement and lift facility as well

newly opened property and a good option for 1 night transit stay. airport is 10 minutes and jetty is 15 minutes which makes it ideal location to stay. courteous staff and are very helpful. WiFi as usual is a problem everywhere courtesy BSNL
