Not all rooms are of the same size. The room we got is smaller than it appears in the photos and it is old and not well maintained.
The manager is very rude and arrogant. He asked too much money for early check-in and when we asked for a room for freshing up after checkout. He was like.. "either pay this much or get lost".
Not worth the price. You can get much better hotels for lesser price.
Rating 1 star just because of the rude manager.

T R Residency is an excellent property located nearby to all major tourist attractions, it's just few metres away from Aurobinda Ashram... location is really great...staff behaviour is very good...only cons is it doesn't have own restaurant but there are many tea shops, restaurants nearby,also you can order online.
overall it's highly recommended

The room provided on the top floor was very small ( Adjacent to the terrace ) . Wifi didn't work on the top floor while it did on other floors .

It was good experience in TR Residency. Location of the property is an added advantage for the tourists visiting Pondicherry.

Staff is welcoming
. But It is not 3 star hotel. Just small hotel. No additional amenities. Not even hangers to put clothes.

Room in app and reality doesn't match. Very small room, not clean toilet more over the main power supply is always cut down. We need to carry something to put that power switch. No proper lambs. This is room was not worth for money. I will never prefer it

The hotel is super clean with very good rooms. The staff is very helpful and kind. You even have a roof to dey your wet clothes. One of the best stays in this budget. I would definitely recommend.

Very close to Ashram, beach and important temples.
