If you want to escape the noise and the city, this is a perfect spot for you. Location is the best thing about this place. We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved this place. Amidst clouds and the lovely landscape you can be at complete peace and relax. The staff is also really nice and the food is great as well, just make sure you let them know an hour in advance what you want and they will get it ready. the location was awesome and the view from balcony was breath taking, but the balcony is only available in the stone house room and not in the row house. the main problem is that you get food only during few hours for break fast lunch and dinner. you cannot order anything anytime. No shops nearby so you have to depend on the report for food and food is not available throughout. No electric kettle as mentioned so only option for tea and coffie is though room service

There is no power since last 30 minutes. We had like 20 power cuts in 1 hour.

The place is just perfect for staycation... the vibe.. the weather.. the food... the staff everything adds up to a comfy vacay.
It is in a valley bed so about 15 kms away from ooty bus stand, but the staff is diligent and arranges transport on requirement basis.

Tranqville offers a mixed bag of experiences, with some aspects leaving a lasting impression while others fall short of expectations.
The accommodations at Tranqville are rather ordinary, lacking the charm and character found in other establishments. However, what it lacks in room aesthetics, it compensates for with its breathtaking views.
