I recently stayed at Upar hotel, near bagmane tech park in Bangalore and had a fairly average experience. The staff were polite and responsive, which made a positive impression.
However, basic bathroom essentials like soap and a toothbrush were not provided upfront. I had to request them at the front desk, and only then were they given. While I appreciated the staff's quick response, these items should ideally be available in the room without needing to ask.
Overall, I’d rate it 3 out of 5 stars. A decent stay with helpful staff, but the attention to basic amenities could be improved.

Worst service ever. Even for house keeping I had to call more than 10 times and wait for 5 hours to get the room cleaned. It’s not what shown in pictures it’s very filthy and you have to park on sides of road. They dont have dedicated car parking. Sheets are clean

TV was not working for the entire stay of 3 nights. I badly missed T20 world cup matches. Even after repeated requests(8-10 times), it was not rectified. No liquid was there in the Mosquito liquidator. On removal of the blanket from the bed, I found that my bed was covered with a used bedsheet with lots of hairs(long), strains ... However, the bedsheet was replaced later on. Staff behaviour was good.

Our stay was excellent; the room was clean, spacious. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making our experience memorable.
