toilets need to be cleaned, flies and pest control needed, room heaters are not working just kept for showoff.
The staff n manager are good n supportive, good hospitality and awesome experience

overall third class maintenance in the place, following issues were encountered by us during our stay for 2 nights in oct-24.
1)washroom handflush missing and not attended by service staff ,even after repeated complaints
2) Coffee cups not cleaned properly
3); water leakage in bath tub
4) broken toiletries storage rack
lethargic attitude of entire crew working in the hotel
highly not recommended to all

Hi, I had the pleasure of staying at Fernhill Heritage Royal Palace Hotel for two days. We booked the Sanand and Bharatpur Suites for our family. The hotel is beautifully situated, surrounded by pine trees, offering a calm and peaceful environment away from the city rush. It's definitely worth staying here if you're visiting Ooty. The hotel has a royal ambiance, being around 150 years old. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The washroom quality needs attention due to seepage issues, and the food diversity could be better. Overall, everything else was top-notch.

Has been rated 5 star but not even a 3 star... No wifi in the rooms... poorly maintained property... Food was bad... Jacuzzi was not working and water was leaking... Only good thing was the staff who were courteous... Pathetic experience

It will definitely give you royal feeling & entire compound is really beautiful. You can see forest bisons too in the garden.
Maintenance of building is bad, you can see mould at many places. Complimentary breakfast is just OK.
