Located ~100 stairs from MG Marg, The Creek Hungry Jack provides affordable luxury at an excellent location. Let's breakup the review. Room taken: Premier canvas. Rate: 25500 (approx) for 3 rooms for 2 nights Pros: 1. Location: Vicinity to MG Marg (the young- climb 100 stairs just opposite the hotel, the elderly- walk 50 m and take the foot bridge, those having difficulty to walk- take a local taxi from the taxi stand); Taxi stand is just in front; Domino's is in the same building. 2. Luxurious stay. 3. Excellent service by the staff - FnB HOD Abir da, Restaurant staff Gouranga da, Ashim and Chiranjit da at the Front Office. 4. Wonderful cooperation from Atanu da (GM), who caters to your every need. Will help out in all possible ways. 5. Service of the restaurant is top notch with the complementary breakfast showing the day. 6. Lift facility is available ( a rarity in Gangtok hotels) 7. Locker room available in case you need to keep your luggage for some time after checking out. 8. The balcony is superb for a morning tea to start your day, and if the weather permits, u may get a view of the Kanchenjunga as well. Cons: 1. No parking space available. (It is the same with almost all hotels in the main tourist areas of Gangtok)

i thought hungry jack is good stay &  maintained hygiene but not at all iam totally upset with the services been provided, i have booked the room including breakfast and lunch/Dinner i had dinner they informed me buffet was available but they provide limited meals i asked for non-veg and they sent an egg in the name of non-vegetarian i would have booked only room if this kind of food was being provided in the name of buffet and in room there wasn't no working Tv or any soap or shampoo in bathroom after asking 2-3 times only anything will come to room & there is a different kind of smell in room & bathroom which was very unpleasant to breathe and in morning the breakfast served with tea was cold instead of hot servings so i ordered an omlette they took the order but didn't send to room till my check-out time was over ! I won't come again here or suggest any one to stay in this hotel & waste of money even they provide discounts

when we were Booking it we told them to change the room it was canjusted and then they gave the new room which was also canjusted but there was Ac atleast that we have asked.The experience we had there was horrible the food was horrible and not well cooked and seasoned the room we got was not that special and bathroom was very slippy that someone might trip and fall the bed was very small that we had to get a mattress to sleep on the floor ant lift was not working so we had to go though the stairs to 2nd Floor.

Location of hotel is good very near to MG Marg ,Room was good but hot water system in the bathroom was poor , worst thing that the hotel main gate opens in the morning only after 7 am and their room service starts only after 8 am , we have to carry our baggage by ourselves during checkout even after calling reception at 9am so morning service is very poor , breakfast is average according to the property value hot water system in the bathroom, morning room service
