I stayed in Ballard Bungalow. the stay was absolutely wonderful and worth talking about. Full of old world charm staying in an ancestral place and area. Marcos the manager made it so homely. the food, ambience people and the warmth was very endearing. It was a must experience for people who want to be in Fort Kochi. It's located in the most happening place. everything is at a stone throws distance . the property itself had such beautiful trees and you must try the dosa in the breakfast.

The stay was one of the worst in Fort Kochi. The place is old and our room had a humid atmosphere. The a/c was not cooling properly. There were mosquitoes all over the place and there was no power this morning. They didn't even have a power backup. The place is not couple friendly and the reception guy has the worst attitude. Apart from our ID cards, he demanded for a proof showing that we were married. Breakfast was provided late and the tea bags provided in the room seemed to be stale.

Was able to check in 9 hours early at a moderate extra pay. A building dating back to the colonial days. Accessories are up to the mark, and housekeeping is good. Ballard offers complimentary breakfast - simple but tasty food, with a choice between Kerala dishes and Western patterns. There is no restaurant or cafeteria, but eateries are round the corner. A cool, cozy stay, to relax and rest, Ballard Bungalow is a great choice.

heritage bunglow that converted in hotel .. wooden floor Nd Dutch aera furniture .. have a common area .. nice location .. near all place to see of fort Kochi , near fort Kochi - vypin and fort Kochi Ernakulam ferry terminal . man on reception give you good travel advice .. they made too good dhosa Nd sambhar in break fast .. cons is property not maintain well Nd wooden floor weak at many place that may lead to accident ..

*Done* Rating 3.5* Very good location all tourist spot nearby. Rooms are spacious. Bed size very big easily accomodate 3adults. Breakfast given in good amount. Only issues market and eatery are far away.For child milk I have to travel 2.5km away. Bungalow have own kitchen but only provide breakfast.All tea bags,water bottle tea maker are provided inside room. Amit Mehta Date of stay 9th NOV'17. One night *Done*

the building is a real heritage property built in 1706 by the dutch. the teak wood panelled flooring is a highlight.the rooms were really spacious. the caretaker, mr. markose was a great host. the bungalow is located in a prime film shooting location. if you're lucky, you might even have a peek at some superstars.

Such a disgusting staff's..they are behaving as if they didn't see money before..so pathetic.they spoiled my day my trip.he was behaving as if he don't want costumers to stay there. but the hotel infrastructure was awesome..kindly don't make these kind of people as your staff..

Worst property in kochi. The reception excecutive was drunk during our checkin and misbehaved with us. He was wearing only a towel around his waist and was not even bothered about his behaviour. Will nevet return to that property again and never recommend

It was a nice experience to stay at such a place but they need to maintain the place a bit more clean because there was work going on during our stay. It is a different experience staying in a heritage place but make sure to keep it to a standard.

Centrally located. Spacious and clean rooms. Old world charm in rooms, as the hotel is an old bungalow conveyed to a hotel. Walking distance to almost all places of interest in Fort Kochi. Decent breakfast. Excellent place to stay with family.

You need to catch a ferry (jhankar) to reach the hotel. Even though i had called the hotel staff few times to inform i would be late, they did not inform me regarding the ferry. Eventually, i was unable to stay there on my booking date.

He cheated us, we have booked Ac suit with Ballard bungalow hotel and they have given us their out house. We already talked to them sender only suit room but cheated us. Bad experience......

It is situatated at the heart of Fort Kochi. The building is about 300 years old. It looks like a heritage building. Manager Mr. Marcos is very helpful person with always a smiling face.
