A worst hotel for stay in Kodaikanal1. The map location they gave shows 3 kms from city but the location is actually 7 kms far from kodaikanal.Which they ll tell only in phone call after booking and payment done.2.The route for this hotel was so steep slope, riding would be a nightmare for 100 meters till hotel gate. if you take ur leg from brake u ll be end up in crash.3.Once we reached the hotel manager/ care taker of the property(note-He s the only one who is there) received pleasantly.(I think he might be pleasantly welcomes me bcoz after all the hurdles of traveling i reached their destination alive).4.He gave compliment tooth brush,paste,soap, shampoo (all these items are hardly come around 30₹)5.I asked for water ,he said drinking water is not available, we need to purchase outside itseems(5 ltr can costs 80₹) without drinking water they are running a hotel for guest stay.6.out of 8 rooms,we are the only one who stayed there..all the remaining rooms are vacant.7.there s no room keeper or watchman. (Totally unsafe property for staying with family).8.if you want food You need to walk for atleast one kilometre to get it.9.After all these we checked in to our room. Room was big and nice.10.when we went to restroom there were no hot water.actually geyser is working but there is no water in water tank.So I raised this issue to manager,he said some issue with water flow..ll rectify it soon..but it doesn't happened till we checked out.11.Think place like Kodaikanal without hot water can we able to take bath.? So I took this as a serious issue,I started nagging him for keep on asking hot water..Finally he made some arrangements to get some flow of water in water tank..So we started getting oozing of water like a IV infusion. we kept a bucket for getting hot water three hours before to take bath.as it get filled slowly (there is no other way)12.Whiile gng to dinner for outside around 8.30pm,My wife mistakenly locked (press type lock) the door (key were inside the room)I requested the manager to get the spare key (he cooly says they don't hav a spare key as all the rooms are having only one key) so there is no way to open the door.And he said by morning he ll ask someone to Break the door.He said this is my mistake,yes I accepted that,so me itself gone out back side of this property and spoke to nearby property owner,I took a ladder climbed to balcony (balcony door couldn't able to close so it was open) and got the key and finally I opened the door with my own concern.13.This is the first property am seeing as without a spare key.14.As I booked my check in time was 12 pm and checkout time was next day 11 am But Next day morning that manager came around 9 o clock and said my checkout time was 10 am.I said my checkout time was 11.am but he refused that and asked us to vacate by 10 am.15.I was totally upset and said if he arrange for hot water i will vacate it immediately after took bath.The same oozing concept of collecting water which came bit high flow and i took bath asap and vacated this property with a huge disappointment.So people who are looking forward to book this property for stay, kindly consider for one or two times before you book.

location to town distance is 6 km, this hotel located nice and peaceful area not food available here and here only one problem is here a caretaker Vijay. that boy not allowed check in time room key.. they don't like online booking. that guy is irritating and pressure to additional money 💸
