I visited Udaipur in the month of April. I booked Jheel Guest House through . The actual rent was Rs., but i got discount from and need to pay only Rs.. The following are Pro's and Cons: Pros: 1. AC room at relatively low price. 2. Pichhola lake is visible from window. 3. Walking distance from three famous places in Udaipur namely City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Bagore Ki Hawali. 4. The working staff is polite and caring. Cons: 1. Quite far from Railway station and bus stand and you need to hire personal auto or car to reach hotel. 2. Hotel is made in home itself, so no lift and small stairs even for second floor. 3.No room service at all. If you need drinking water, they will ask you to take it from nearby hotel( at free of cost). 4. Most disgusting was washroom, in which either no water or permanent leakage of water.

This hotel is a big no from my side... they have two properties one is guest House and one is hotel in guest house page* no room service, infact no one pick up the call if you want to ask any thing, you have to go down from 3rd floor of guest house and then go to the other building of hotel and then again climb there 1st floor hot water supply is horrible it takes 20 min for hot water to start you have to turn on the shower for atlist 20 min then hot water will start, till then your shower is wasting cold water.... no managment, no cleaning of room i would suggest you to book a dharamsala at the place of this

Standard AC room.. is not at all worth for this Jeel Guest house. My parents are staying here for 3rd floor of this guest room. There are only 6 standard AC rooms and all are having same conditions. Very very small room, with a double bed, pillars and beams coming your way, It hardly leave any space to keep your bag or even walk to go to washroom. No Room service, even for drinking water you need to step down and ask on reception and come back climbing 3rd floor again. Taps are damaged in washroom, no buckets and mugs, broken and not working shower. Untidy room and washroom including passage to room. ..

jheel guest house is a lake side hotel from where u can hve a great view of lake pichola. However pls keep in.mind dat they have 2 properties at same location. one is new which has lake side nd roof top resto another one opposite to it old property. i stayed in.the old property. it is budget hotel. rooms were clean but room service available. they have wifi facility. one can try coffee at there resto. overall okay experience

The only positive point about this hotel is the view you will get from the room provided you get Room No. 3, 5 or 7. Room No. 7 is the roof top room which is spacious and has the best view. You also get the terrace and can also enjoy the sunset view. Having said that, the hotel definitely needs to work upon the services and cleanliness to earn 5 starts

its a guest house...dont expect a hotel like service from this place... but the best part is the location..it gives a very scenic view from the room and even from the ground floor reception area... the cafe is also good and has tempting snacks, mocktails and hot drinks... overall, if u can ignore the service part then this guest house is a good stay..

Such beautiful view. Exceedingly sweet staff. Seth Jee, the owner and his Son are so helpful. I went Udaipur for only one day but just because of the hospitality and view I extended my stay there. Keep going Jheelโs guest house, hotel and Cafe. ๐ค๐๐ค๐๐... surely I coming back to this place soon.

Here are two part one new Jheel guest house & one old, mere sath inohne cheating kiya or old guest house mai rukhwaya, **, jabki jo nhi jantha unne old guest house mai, so please all take care before booking. Hotel location is too good, but hotel owner is not good compare to hotel.

Best hotel in udaipur.Jheel guest house is situated near Pichola lake.We r vry happy with owner's cordial reception.Good view of lake pichola from ur room & balcony & restaurant. Good food quality for foreigners but disappointment for indian foods. All staffs are good.

Have to ask again and again for room service. Location is good if you are not travelling in your own car because there is no space for parking and it's too difficult to reach hotel by car. The only advantage is that some tourist spots are near by.

Close to Lake Pichola with such reasonable rate. Only draw back no room service. For real travellers rooms are for only spending few hours.
