Kallancherry Retreat Resort

If you want to explore kumblangi and spend a quiet peaceful quality time with your family and friends then kallancherry retreat is the best option . it is situated in north kumblangi island , roads leading to this place is narrow but wide enough for four wheelers , you can bring your cars and park here there is ample space . we are couple from palakkad we came for the first time and owner Mr rocky was graceful to call us and took our food order before we arrived he was also very kind enough to upgrade our room to a deluxe room with balcony facing the lake . the care taker Mr raju is very hardworking and he takes good care of visitors , takes orders for food and makes sure everyone is having a good time . let me give you few point about this place, its a pleasant homestay situated on the waterfront , they dont have many rooms and cottages so even when its full the place is not crowded and absolutely quiet , the food are prepared by villagers and is very authentic , food needs time to prepare so give your preference before hand , dont expect fancy food like restaurants . order food as you eat in our home , trust me food is delicious , prawns , fish , aapams are must try , its a quiet serene place in the lap of nature , good way to enjoy is to stay right here only , you can walk across road and in the village for great view of the island . as a couple we really enjoyed our stay ,its a must place for every one , young , old , bachelors , families , reunion parties , any get together .. and yes special thanks to Mr rocky who is very humble and takes really good care of the visitors .

Resort was not up to the expectation however one gentleman was very nice. It's a river facing property but not that great. The room which they provided was not value for money. The washroom was hygienic. Location & for tourist purpose it is good. In-house dining option is available & breakfast was good but too costly.

the owner was very helpful and arranged for our stay without any hassles. the food potions were really generosity for both our dinner and breakfast. the place is maintained well with much artificial things. the views were quite exceptional. overall 10/10

It's a great property & their rooms here were awesome & even all their services were good too. Their staffs here were very good as well. The overall ambiance of the place was awesome as well. Overall we had great stay here.
