*Disappointing Experience at La Flora Thekkady*I recently had the misfortune of staying at La Flora Thekkady, and I must say, it was a thoroughly underwhelming experience.Firstly, the tap water in my room was muddy, which was not only unappealing but also unacceptable.To make matters worse, the room cleaning was pathetic. The staff seemed to be lacking in attention to detail, and the room was not cleaned properly.But what really took the cake was that the staff was completely clueless. Despite being in Kerala, none of the staff members spoke Hindi, English, or even Malayalam fluently. It was a struggle to communicate even the simplest of requests.And to top it all off, the room had a persistent, unpleasant smell that made my stay even more uncomfortable.Overall, I would not recommend La Flora Thekkady to anyone. The management needs to seriously look into these issues and take immediate action to improve the overall experience.

I had a wonderful stay. The location was excellent, offering convenient access to everything I needed. The surrounding area was vibrant and lively, which made exploring enjoyable. The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. it is modern guest house, no way a resort or hotel only 1 person in the hotel, he is your host, your reception person, your pantry person, your house keeping, your breakfast chef as there is only 1 person for everything during your stay. breakfast is just the name, as only idly available and again he is the same man to make breakfast and serve ( we skipped breakfast by the way) hot water is available in bucket as I told it's a modern guest house. no shower working only bucket bath.

The staff were really lazy. They didn't give me a towel. Soap was unavailable. The mirror was also dirty. Cupboard was broken. The light near the bed was missing. The bed was not comfortable and noisy. Too many Mosquitoes.

Extremely Poor Housekeeping. Even though door Locks not working. very dirty with full of Insects lizard's inside the bed & Bath room. Not recommended for family. Kitchen dirty Not happy the way Hotel Maintained

Hotel room was good in such a price. Hotel was near to bus stop and market Rooms were clean. staff was also very helpfull and humble Food was also good just that they did not have much option

The property is located in near periyar tiger reserver national park entry bus point, kathkali and elephant safari. Rooms very nice and clean. Tasty Food. The manager and Staff very helpful.
