The hotel was situated in panthaghati which is around 7 kms away from the main mall road,but the distance didn't matter because the bus stop is nearby and also the frequency of buses was good.The rooms were very cozy, neat and clean with a very homely touch. It had a small kitchen with gas stove and had all the utensils required for cooking in case you want to cook. The food was delicious and the rates were reasonable as well. Mr Chauhan the hotel owner was a very humble guy. The steward Sunil was also very helpful and took good care of us. But the only drawback with this property is that it doesn't have any lift, elderly couples may find it a bit difficult to climb up to the top floor. But at ** a day it was a steal of a deal and I look forward to visiting this place in the near future.

This is one of the best places I have stayed in my life. The hotel rooms are clean and well maintained and the view from the hotel is amazing. You can see the whole of shimla from there. It's only a short bus ride from the lift(20 mins) and busses stop right in front of the hotel. The owner and the staff are really helpful. They go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. PS: The food is really good too and economical. Loved the parathas that they serve.

One of the best home stay i have ever stayed in. It is situated 5-6 kms away from mall road but thats not an issue as it takes only 15 mnts to reach mall road from here. Buses are easily availavble during any time of day. Owner is very good person and corporative one. Sunil is one gem of a person. They treat you like their own family. Great hospitality great view amazing food and stay. I will always recommed Shimla view home to those who are visiting shimla.

room was amazing and the view was amazing at night whole shimla visible it's like nature side experience as cold fresh air fill the lungs in the balcony of the stay , staff is very friendly and cooperating I recommend people to book this hotel even though it's little far for tourist bt if want to have a homestay it's the right choice
