It is an excellent property within 1 km from Main Lucknow Charbagh Rly Station. It is a heritage building of some royal family now converted into hotel. The ambience is very good, gives the impression of living in a palace. I stayed there for days with 6 members of my family. The Management and staff were very polite and helpful. The mirror in our room was blurred and we requested them to change it. Within 30 minutes, they replaced it with a new one. Kitchen staff was also very prompt and helpful. However, I feel that the quality of the rooms are not up to the mark and need a thorough inspection. Washbasin of one room had cracked in it. The taps were loose and many minor wear & tears were visible in furniture. Perhaps, they need to inspect every room to improve such minor but significant details. Overall, living there was a memorable experience and I would love to stay there on my next trip to Lucknow.

It feels like Nawab, when i stay at Shakuntala palace at Lucknow. Its not like the other hotels, the property is a basically a mahal of rajasahab. So this stay gives very special feeling. Service is good. Location is just opposite Hussain gunj Metro station, opposite gate no1. It feels like Nawab, when i stay at Shakuntala palace at Lucknow. Aadaab, I stayed here in Shakuntala Palace for 1 Night, in the first week of Feb 25, it was an amazing experience, you can easily feel the mesmerizing haveli vibes here. The rooms are also very spacious with a television set and easily access hot water also, room service is also accurate and just a call away, staff is also very obedient, and all the tourist places is just a 2 to 3 km away from here, you can easily get auto rickshaw or Uber bikes instantly, overall it's a superb gem in Tehzeebon ka Shehar Lucknow.

This is a beautiful place like an old palace. This is for those people who do not like buildings like an artificial tower. It feels great to stay here and realize what beauty it really is. I would suggest all the people to enjoy a wonderful experience by staying in this palatial hotel instead of staying in expensive artificial hotels. The behavior of all the hotel staff and even the guards is amazing. Thank you

Shakuntala is always first choice if staying in Lucknow. Staff behavior is very nice. They have allowed me early check-in many times with no extra cost -- this shows their commitment to make their customers life easy and experience awesome. Big rooms, near to railway station, clean rooms, staff behavior really nice.

Superb hotel, feeling like Nawab. Its a Haveli of Raja Saheb, which is converted now into a hotel. so u can feel the Nawabiana while staying. Manager is friendly, helpful, all types of payment option is available. Service is good. Staffs are well behaved.

Overall it's a good place to stay,single or with family,this place will not disappoint you. Small issue was with smell when room was opened,but after few minutes it was gone. Had buffet breakfast here and it was very good deal and food was also tasty.
