The Cottage Nigeen | Rooms & Caretaker

It's one of the worst places i have stayed at. Beautiful from outside and dirty from inside. The washroom was full of pee stains and harpic when we entered. Plain disgusting. Never have i ever stayed at such a place. Pre payment takes off all the accountability owners have towards providing a safe environment.There was no light the entire night. It was freezing at night and i fell sick because of it. I stayed at houseboat a night before, with minimal reaources they were able to keep the rooms warm and cozy and that too in a rainy weather i might add. When we called the caretaker he said he is going to sleep..when we called him in the morning he said he will do something and turned on the generator. They had a generator outside but unbothered to turn it on..how abominable. We payed for 2 rooms 3 persons and i wasnt worth a single penny.

This is one place which will remain etched in my mind forever. The path leading up to this blessed lake is simply out of a movie. There is beautiful greenery all around, prayer flags fluttering in the breeze and the mesmerizing chants coming from the nearby religious place. I have been to this many times. This amazing place is owned by couple who are very down to earth person and will take care of your each and every need. The service, ambeince, food and hospitality can't be found anywhere else.

We were a family of 5 with an infant and had a great time at The Cottage. The cottage is beautiful decorated, the rooms are big and very clean. The hospitality of the hosts, and the help is tremendous. The meals were tasty, homely and I would recommend to book a room with dinner. The hosts are helpful with recommendations regarding travel or local sight seeing and shopping. Highly recommend ed, would stay again!

The host of the property, Shaqila Ma'am, is a Super Super Host! Great Property. Calm and Quiet. Amazing Decor. All facilities provided in the room. The place has an outdoor garden. Self-Service. Homely Vibe. Courteous Staff. And the Food prepared over here was amazing. The host would help you with the sightseeing tours as well as arranging for cabs and autos if required. You are in safe hands with them.
