The Cubic Stay

My experience of staying at AKASH INN has been pathetic. The rooms are infested with cockroaches, toilet tap keeps leaking, the WC doesn’t flush properly, toilet drains are clogged, rooms (even for AC standard rooms) are dirty with layers of dust all around. There is no room service. If you have opted for Standard AC room, they will turn the AC off from reception in the middle of the night (you don’t have a AC remote in your room). The only good part is it’s located at a walking distance from MGR Railway station (though in a stinky smelly neighbourhood). If are travelling solo and you have an early morning train to catch and you don’t mind compromising on your hygiene, you can stay here. Else if you are with your family and /or your train is at some other time of the day, please STAY AWAY from this place.

This hotel rooms are in the very worst condition and poor maintenance. All walls and switches are broken and especially no hot water facility. Even doors are not locking properly. The AC is very old and dusty. The bed and pillows are not even cleaned and hygienic. Someone else's hair and even stain is also there in the bed. We are literally FRUSTRATED!😡😤This hotel is not at all suits for any type of stay either family or couple. Very worst maintenance and poor condition rooms. No hygiene nothing and especially no amenities are there

as we have train in the early morning we booked to this near hotel akash..... pls don't book this place it's not good for family I don't know when they washed the bed spread its itching like anything we stayed just for 4 hrs unable to sleep for the whole night mosquito bite all night....the smell of the room and the way to this hotel is also not upto the mark ....think twice before you book

The family deluxe room we stayed in overnight was quite spacious for four people and clean. However, there was no parking available for cars, and the lift was out of service. Despite these issues, since it was just a short stay, we found it satisfactory. I would suggest to confirm with the hotel regarding any additional amenities before making a booking.
