The room was big and spacious overlooking the golf course. The bathroom was also quiet big and clean. The checkin was smooth. It appears the restaurant is a popular one. The food and the service good.Negatives-The restaurant closes early by 8 pm.During load shedding in late night hours no generator or inverter connection. It becomes difficult to go to bathroom in pitch darkness because the bathroom floor is at raised height from the room floor.

I had a great experience at The Golf Retreat hotel. The best thing about the property is it's location and decor. It's right opposite the Shillong Golf Course. The room was amazing. Everything else was great too. The only thing they can improve upon is staff availability and service.

The rooms and the restaurant was amazing. The rooms were spacious and nice. The dinner served at the restaurant was good but there was literally no options for morning breakfast. The breakfast was really poor. The staff was really helpful and nice though.

excellent Hotel. staffs are well behaved. rooms are specious. foods are tastey specially thalis are available. Veg and Non Veg thalis are relatively cost effective with huge varities. over all it was Nice stays.
