Vista Express - Nearby Railway Station

I booked two rooms yesterday on my travel to Dehradun and in the hotel named The Vista Express. I paid the amount and when I reached the hotel, I found that the rooms which I had chosen were not available and as we told the hotel staff about this he spoke to my sister very rudely and told me that "if you want to stay then stay or get out of here". I was shocked to hear this and told everything to the owner of the hotel he enquired about this and directed me to stay in his hotel. But I think he don't know or wasn't aware of the behaviour of his staff posted there. It was very unsafe and also after we were allotted the room it was again a disaster as It wasn't clean and was very dirty. I got frustrated by this and told them give me my money back I didn't want to stay here bit they told me that the fee is non-refundable and shouted at me and threw my luggage out of the hotel. Then I realised that he was drunk and also we thought it is not safe for us as we are students to stay here and we got another hotel. This is a very bad experience for us as everything in that hotel was the worst I had seen in my entire life. Situated in an isolated place it is very unsafe for a girl (my sister) to stay there and by reaching there I realised that we have made a bad decision to come here. Also the behaviour of the staff, rooms cleaniless, expected room all were not up to the mark.

First of all the location of the hotel mentioned was wrong. I have selected the hotel for nearest of Railway Station , however we have to walk for half an hour to reach to the railway station at the early morning. There are no transport available at the location to move main city/bus stand/railway station. No toiletries was given at the room. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. very small room, No AC installed in the room, however it was mentioned at the itineraries. No food available in the hotel, also no restaurant present at the near to the hotel. No staff present in the hotel at night. Very very worst experience for one night stay. Not recommended for anyone.

it was bad. stayed for one night and couldn't sleep at all. the room lacked basic amenities. despite booking ac room they gave us a non ac room. it stank like a moist damp room of fungus. it was overly humid. despite raising concerns, no solution was provided. poorly maintained and lacked hygiene. they did not provide a handful of amenities that were listed. would never stay again or recommend. seems like goibibo doesn't do any background or standards check. disappointed.
