They say home is where the heart is. If so, then this lil quaint place has my heart <3 My stay was perfect! It was my first-ever trip to Kolkata and my stay with 5/4 is definitely the highlight. I would agree it's a bit difficult to find as it's not right on the main road, but what you should know is Rupesh will message you the details you would need to get to this place and if still lost, Munna da is your man. He will send you assistance only to realize it's just a walk away from the main road. Situated at Ballygunge, I found it super convenient to get around and so many eateries and shopping places and even a few landmarks around me. The place does have its wear and tear but it just adds to its rustic charm. We met some amazing people staying there as well. Breakfast is my most looked-forward-to meal where people you don't know become friends over a tea or coffee etc. It was definitely an experience. Cleanliness, you don't have room service like all hotels but request for a cleaning and they will do it very well. Food - If you really want some home-cooked Bengali food, Munna da is an amazing cook just as good as a host he is,you must try his cooking at least a meal. Well-spoken and well read and hence a non- bangla and non-Hindi speaking me found it easy to talk and seek assistance. The only con I could find was the location but hey I had a concierge :P so who is complaining? Definitely stay here and I definitely would for all my visits to Kolkata if I am blessed with one :) - Anju

Very Chilled and laid back guest house. Beautifully done interiors and cozy atmosphere makes you feel at home with ease. Location could be tricky at first but gets easy when you reach there, conveniently located from the places of importance. The Quest Mall is at a walling distance of 20 minutes from the property. Mr. Sunil, the caretaker at the property goes out of his way to make sure you have a great stay. Highly recommend for solo travellers looking for a safe and friendly spot to stay.

It was lovely cozy place, especially in night the fairy lights all around the vintage building adds beauty. I had my small ceremony there at terrace. Munna was the care taker who can cook amazing food for you guys. Overall good experience just it's inside narrow space hence no personalised parking space.

It was a lovely stay in the hotel. Neat and clean and mostly importantly one can have the feel of staying in a home. Special shout out for Munna Da, Kishore Da and Sunil . They have a beautiful terrace where one can enjoy the songs of birds. Very good experience.
