  • Andaman and Nicobar Islands

      Mandatory for Travellers

  • Arunachal Pradesh

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • All passengers must download the Aarogya Setu App.
    • It is mandatory for all travellers to wear face mask, practice social distancing, wash their hands frequently with soap + water/ hand sanitiser and practice proper cough etiquette while out in public places and workplaces.

    • Tourists should carry a valid COVID-19 negative certificate (RT-PCR or True NAT test) from ICMR designated laboratory/facility. They should have taken the test not more than 72 hours prior to the date of arrival.
    • Only pre-booked package tours, done exclusively via local tour operators will be allowed to operate.
    • Tourists will also need to provide four other additional documents while applying for Inner Line Permit: tour itineraries and vehicle details, COVID-19 certificate, tour booking slips and details of the guide and driver.
    • Family groups staying together should remain 2m away from other individuals or family groups.

  • Andhra Pradesh

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • All passengers must download the Aarogya Setu App.
    • All passengers must register themselves on the Spandana website.

  • Assam

    • Thermal screening will be done for all passengers.
    • All passengers arriving into any airport in Assam shall mandatorily undergo RAT test upon arrival free of cost.
      1. If the test result of the RAT test is positive, the passenger will have to undergo home isolation or get admitted in a private hospital or Government Health Institution depending on his/her medical condition .
    • If the test result of the RAT test is negative, the passenger will have to undergo RT-PCR(self-paid) at the airport itself.
    • If the RT-PCR result is positive, they must undergo home isolation or get admitted in a private hospital/ government institution, depending on their medical condition.
    • If the RT-PCR is negative, they can continue normal activities as long as they follow all COVID-19 safety protocols.
    • 7 days of home quarantine is mandatory for all passengers, irrespective of their test report.
    • Exemptions to the on-arrival test and quarantine is allowed for the following passengers, as long as they are asymptomatic:
      1. Residents of North-Eastern states other than Assam, who are arriving at any airport in Assam from outside the state and are travelling directly to any other North-Eastern state.
      2. All transit passengers travelling on Intra-Assam and Inter-North Eastern state routes.
  • Bihar

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • All passengers must download the Aarogya Setu App.

    • People travelling from/to airports, railway stations, bus terminals will be allowed to travel without any e-Pass.
    • Vehicles authorised by district administration with e-passes are allowed.
    • Any other inter-state and intra-state movement of passenger vehicles is allowed.
    • Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • Thermal screening is mandatory for all passengers upon arrival.
    • Bihar has different rules for different regions:
      1. Passengers arriving from Kerala, Maharashtra & Punjab must carry a negative RT-PCR test report (issued within 72 hours before arrival).
      2. Special Guidelines for Gaya: Passengers arriving from Delhi & NCR, Maharashtra, Kerala & Punjab must carry a negative COVID test certificate (swab collection for RT-PCR must be within 72 hours before arrival).
      3. For all other states: No RT-PCR test is required to enter Bihar.
    • mandatory 10 days quarantine for passengers arriving in Maharashtra, Kerala & Punjab. For GAYA only: There is a mandatory 10 days quarantine for passengers arriving Delhi & NCR, Maharashtra, Kerala & Punjab.

  • Chandigarh

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • All passengers must download the Aarogya Setu App and fill contact-tracing forms on arrival.
    • They must register on the COVA Punjab App before commencing their journey and fill a Health Declaration form on arrival.

    • Thermal screening will be done for all passengers.
    • Passengers must carry a negative RT-PCR test report, conducted within 72 hours of arrival or vaccination certificate (at least 1 dosage) over 2 weeks old.
    • Symptomatic passengers will be sent for institutional quarantine, where they will be tested. They must remain in quarantine until test results are available.
    • International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols here.
  • Chhattisgarh

    • Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers.
    • All passengers travelling to Chhattisgarh are advised to be in possession of RT-PCR negative report not earlier than 96 hrs or a COVID vaccination Final Certificate (after 2 doses of vaccination).
    • Children below the age of 12 years shall be exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR and on arrival test.
    • Passengers travelling without an RT-PCR negative report or vaccination certificate must undergo a COVID test upon arrival free of cost and stay in home quarantine until the report is available.
    • Asymptomatic domestic travellers need not quarantine.

  • Dadra & Nagar Haveli And Daman & Diu

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • All travellers must download the Aarogya Setu app.
    • They must submit health and travel details on the Self-Declaration Form available on the state portal. Hotels can assist in this, if needed.

  • Delhi

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • It is mandatory to use face masks when out in public in Delhi (even if travelling solo or with people in a car).

    • Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • Thermal screening will be done for all flight passengers upon arrival.
    • Domestic flight passengers arriving at the Delhi airport will have to undergo random COVID testing by the authorities. They will be allowed to exit the airport after sample collection. Those found positive must quarantine at home or hospital for 10 days.
    • RT-PCR test report is NOT required to enter Delhi.

  • Goa

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • It is mandatory to download the Aarogya Setu app before entering the state.
    • A lockdown is in effect, however, flight operations remain unaffected during this time.

    • Asymptomatic domestic travellers do not have to quarantine.
    • All passengers travelling to Goa must carry a negative RT-PCR certificate (with sample taken within 72 hours before arrival) or full COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done).

  • Gujarat

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • Download and update the Aarogya Setu app.

    • International and domestic passengers arriving in Surat must fill and submit the ‘Novel Corona Self-reporting Form’ online and download the ‘SMC COVID-19 Tracker’ app.
    • Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • For Air Travellers:
      1. For those landing in Surat: All passengers must carry a negative RT-PCR test, with sample taken within 72 hours. Children below the age of 12 years will be exempted.
      2. For those landing in other airports: RT-PCR test is NOT required.
      3. For those landing in Ahmedabad: Anyone exhibiting symptoms during thermal screening must undergo a self-paid RT-PCR test on arrival.
    • Special guidelines for those travelling onward to Diu: All visitors from Maharashtra and Gujarat to Diu must carry a negative COVID-19 test report, with sample taken within 72 hours before hotel check-in.
    • Travellers coming from neighbouring states (including Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh) by road will be screened at border posts.
    • International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols here.
  • Haryana

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • Download and update the Aarogya Setu App.
    • A lockdown is in effect at the moment, however, flight operations remain unaffected during this time.
    • E-pass is required for travel and can be downloaded from: http://edisha.gov.in/eForms/HRMovePass.
    • Only essential services will be allowed during this period.
    • E-pass is required even if the traveller has a valid flight or train ticket. The e-Pass has to be shared with the driver before the trip starts. Without it, the driver will not be able to reach the pickup location.
    • 2 passengers + 1 driver will be allowed to travel in sedan vehicles and 3 passengers + 1 driver in SUVs.
    • Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • RT-PCR test report is NOT needed to enter Haryana.

  • Himachal Pradesh

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • Travellers must install the Aarogya Setu App on their smartphones.
    • Kibber village (including Kibber wildlife sanctuary) in Lahaul & Spiti is currently closed for tourism.
    • A curfew has been announced in Himachal till 6 a.m on 7th June, 2021.
    • Travellers travelling to Himachal Pradesh by air, bus or railways must register on the e-pass portal of the HP government prior to commencement of the journey and are advised to carry the acknowledgement receipt to avoid inconvenience.
    • Travellers with valid e-pass or train or flight tickets are allowed to travel during lockdown.
    • Anyone booking a cab to/from the airport/railway station must share a copy of their valid e-ticket (flight/train) with their driver before the trip starts. Without this, the driver will not be able to reach the pickup location.
    • 2+1 passengers will be allowed in sedan vehicles & 3+1 passengers in SUVs.
    • Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • RT-PCR test report is NOT needed to enter Himachal Pradesh.
    • Domestic travellers do not have to quarantine.
    • On arrival COVID test is no longer mandatory for domestic passengers.
    • Thermal screening will be done for all passengers upon arrival.

  • Jammu & Kashmir

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • Passengers must download Aarogya Setu on their phones and add a valid phone number to the app, where they can be contacted at any time.

    • All passengers are required to fill up the ICMR Health form on arrival.

    • Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • All domestic passengers arriving at the Jammu and Srinagar airports are required to undergo an on-arrival COVID test except:
      1. Srinagar: for Defense Personnel
      2. Jammu: for Defense Personnel arriving to join duty.
    • If positive, they must home quarantine for 14 days and seek treatment if health worsens.
    • All visitors travelling to Kashmir by road must undergo a COVID test on arrival, as directed by health officials.

  • Jharkhand

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • Download and update the Aarogya Setu App.
    • Travellers must self-monitor their health conditions for 14 days.
    • Travellers must take an e-pass for inter-district and inter-state movements.
    • All passengers are required to register on the Government of Jharkhand website.

    • Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • All travellers entering Jharkhand are subject to thermal screening.
    • Mandatory thermal screening will be conducted for all passengers arriving from Maharashtra, Kerala & Telangana.
    • Symptomatic passengers will be tested for RT-PCR/TRUENAT and if found positive will be advised for home isolation.
    • It is mandatory for passengers arriving from ANY state to carry a RTPCR/TRUENAT negative report from ICMR approved lab no earlier than 72 hours.
    • Passengers must undergo mandatory 7-day home quarantine upon arrival.
      1. Following passengers are exempted from mandatory 7-day home quarantine:
      2. Passengers having return tickets within 72 hours of arrival in Jharkhand.
      3. Airline Personnel
      4. Passengers passing through Jharkhand during interstate movements.
      5. Government of India officials on official duty.
      6. Passengers who undertake daily interstate travel for mining/industrial/agriculture/healthcare-related activities.

  • Karnataka

  • Kerala

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • Must register on https://covid19jagratha.kerala.nic.in/ to obtain an e-pass.
    • All passengers who intend to visit any other State or UT after entering Kerala must have an entry pass for Kerala and also the State or UT they intend to visit.
    • A lockdown is in effect, however, flight operations remain unaffected during this time.
    • Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • Mandatory thermal screening will be done on arrival.
    • All passengers must carry a negative RT-PCR test issued within 72 hours before entering or must take one immediately after entering the state.
    • 14 days of mandatory home quarantine for all passengers who are not in possession of a negative RT-PCR certificate and are not willing to undergo a test on arrival.
    • This isn’t applicable for those travelling to Kannur.
    • Passengers who visit the state for a short period must carry a negative RT-PCR test report issued within 48 hours before arrival. They must also take an entry pass for a short visit from COVID Jagratha portal.
    • For Calicut Only · Passengers undergoing test on arrival shall remain under home/institutional quarantine till the test result is declared. The transportation from airport to quarantine facility/home quarantine shall be in double chambered vehicles.
  • Ladakh

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • Thermal screening will be done for all air passengers.
    • All passengers must carry a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test report (conducted within 96 hours before arrival) while entering Ladakh.
    • If passengers are not carrying a negative RT-PCR report, then mandatory 7 days of home quarantine is must. COVID test may be conducted at the end of the quarantine period.
    • Those travelling by road or via air must, in addition to a negative COVID-19 test report, undergo rapid antigen testing on arrival in the Union Territory.

  • Lakshadweep

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • Travellers must download the Aarogya Setu app.
    • Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers.
    • Passengers must carry a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test report obtained 48 hours before travelling to the island.
    • There are no quarantine rules for domestic passengers, provided they have a negative certificate.
    • International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols here .
  • Madhya Pradesh

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • Travellers must download the Aarogya Setu app.
    • Those travelling to Indore must install the Indore 311 App, self-register themselves before arrival and consistently update their health status for 14 days.
    • Lockdown has been lifted with some restrictions. Flight operations remain unaffected. Please check the latest state guidelines before travelling.
    • Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers.
    • For those landing in Indore: Passengers arriving only from Maharashtra must carry a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test report, conducted within 48 hours before arrival. Those travelling without a report must take a test (self-paid) on arrival at the airport and self-isolate till the result is out.
    • For those landing in Bhopal: Passengers arriving only from Maharashtra must carry a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test report, conducted within 72 hours before arrival. Symptomatic passengers must undergo a test (self-paid) on arrival at the Bhopal airport and undergo institutional quarantine till the result is out.
    • RT-PCR test is NOT required for passengers arriving from states other than Maharashtra.
    • Symptomatic passengers must undergo COVID test on arrival & must stay under institutional quarantine till the test result is available.
    • If the test result is positive, passengers will be sent to COVID Care Centre where they will undergo re-test followed by Home Quarantine as advised by the competent authorities.
    • If the result is negative, further Institutional or Home Quarantine is not required.
    • Those on a short business trip (less than 3 days) do not have to quarantine. They must give their contact/ other travel details to the officials at the airport.

  • Maharashtra

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • For those landing in Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad or Nagpur: All passengers must carry a negative RT-PCR test, conducted within 48 hours before arrival.
    • Following passengers landing in Pune are exempted from the test:
      1. Armed Forces personnel and their family members
      2. Members of Parliament
    • For those landing in Kolhapur or Shirdi: Only passengers from NCR Delhi, Kerala, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Goa must carry a negative RT-PCR test, conducted within 72 hours before arrival.
    • Symptomatic passengers arriving in Shirdi will get their left hand stamped with quarantine information as decided by the local health authorities.
    • For those travelling within Maharashtra: . RT-PCR test is NOT required for passengers flying from one Maharashtra airport to another .
    • International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols here.
  • Manipur

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • Travellers are required to install the Aarogya Setu App on their smartphones.
    • Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • Thermal screening will be done for all arriving passengers.
    • All passengers arriving by air or road must carry a negative COVID test report (either RT-PCR/TRUENAT/CB-NAAT) with them. Sample collection must be done within 72 hours before travel.
    • Passengers originating from Manipur travelling in an emergency situation are exempted from carrying a COIVD-19 negative report at the time of entry as a special case and will have to undergo testing upon arrival. This shall only be allowed with prior information of such emergency travel communicated to the COVID Control Room helpline number 1800-345- 3818 for necessary arrangements to be made.

  • Meghalaya

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • Travellers are required to install the Aarogya Setu App on their smartphones.
    • A lockdown is in effect at the moment, however, flight operations remain unaffected during this time. Please check the latest state guidelines before travelling.
    • Register on the state portal or the Meghalaya Tourism App to generate a unique e-invite .
    • Upload a valid photo ID on the Meghalaya Tourism App. Members travelling together can register and generate one e-invite.
    • Must book and declare the first night’s stay (hotel/homestay/guest house), along with full address, contact details and complete itinerary to generate the e-invite.
    • Those without home quarantine facilities must pre-book their hotels before registering.
    • A night curfew has been enforced in East Khasi Hills district from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily.
    • Quarantine and Testing Rules

    • All arriving passengers are mandatorily required to carry RT-PCR negative report issued within 48 hours before departure. Passengers without the same report shall be denied boarding at the origin destination.
    • Passengers must also undergo RT-PCR testing upon arrival at their own cost. Passengers arriving from any state except Maharashtra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Karnataka and Kerala do not have to take the on-arrival test if they are carrying a valid final certificate of vaccination.
    • Passengers having a day return journey shall also undergo RT-PCR test upon arrival.
    • Passengers who test positive will be transferred to COVID facility for further treatment and testing.
    • Passengers who have undergone testing upon arrival shall remain under home or institutional quarantine till the result is declared.

  • Mizoram

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • Travellers are required to install the Aarogya Setu App on their smartphones.
    • All passengers entering the state must apply for a valid m-Pass on the State website
    • Quarantine and Testing Guidelines

    • All passengers must undergo thermal screening.
    • All passengers with or without negative COVID report will be subjected to mandatory Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival.
    • All passengers shall be required to undergo mandatory 10 day home or institutional quarantine even if Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival is negative.
    • Passengers will undergo RT-PCR/TrueNAT test after completion of the 10 day quarantine period.
    • Passengers visiting for a short period, i.e., up to 96 hours need not self-isolate if they can produce a negative RT-PCR report not earlier than 72 hours before arrival along with a valid return ticket.
    • Children of age 1 year and below will not be tested.
    • International travellers entering the state must check Government-issued guidelines on registration, quarantine and testing protocols here.
  • Nagaland

      Mandatory for Travellers

    • Travellers are required to install the Aarogya Setu App on their smartphones.
    • Travellers must download the COVID-19 Nagaland App and submit their health and contact details.
    • Travellers must submit self-declaration for home quarantine through the nCOVID Nagaland Visitors App/[covid-19nagaland.gov.in]online/by WhatsApp to helpline no. 7630877991.

    • Quarantine and Testing Guidelines

    • All passengers must undergo thermal screening.
    • All passengers must mandatorily carry RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT negative reports issued not earlier than 72 hours before arrival. They may also carry a COVID vaccination Final Certificate (after 2 doses of vaccination).
    • All passengers arriving into the state of Nagaland shall be required to undergo 7 days of home/paid institutional quarantine.
    • Residents of any of the North Eastern States other than Nagaland transiting or directly travelling onwards to any other North Eastern State shall mandatorily follow the above mentioned guidelines, and also satisfy arrival guidelines of their final destination.

Symptomatic passengers must undergo a test (self-paid) on arrival at the Bhopal airport and undergo institutional quarantine till the result is out.
    • RT-PCR test is NOT required for passengers arriving from states other than Maharashtra.
    • Symptomatic passengers must undergo COVID test on arrival & must stay under institutional quarantine till the test result is available.
    • If the test result is positive, passengers will be sent to COVID Care Centre where they will undergo re-test followed by Home Quarantine as advised by the competent authorities.
    • If the result is negative, further Institutional or Home Quarantine is not required.
    • Those on a short business trip (less than 3 days) do not have to quarantine. They must give their contact/ other travel details to the officials at the airport.
