Malaysia Airlines, for the convenience of passengers, offers 4 check-in options: - Web check-in - Mobile check-in - Counter check-in - Self-service kiosk The check-in counters close 60 minutes for international flights and 45 minutes for domestic flights, before departure. Passengers are encouraged to check-in via web or mobile check-in or come as early as 3-4 hours before departure for baggage drop. Web check-in and mobile check-in is available between 48 hours and 90 minutes before the flight departure, with the option to print out the boarding pass or get it on mobile phones. Passengers can check-in as many pieces of baggage as they need, as long as the total weight does not exceed the maximum baggage allowed for their cabin class. For economy class tickets, 30 kg (66 lbs.) and 158 cm (62 inches) is the limit. For business class, 40 kg (88 lbs.) and 158 cm (62 inches) is the limit and for first class, 50 kg (110 lbs.) and 158 cm (62 inches) is the limit. Apart from Free Baggage Allowance (FBA), passengers are entitled for Cabin Baggage Allowance as well.
