It was great stay at Ambadi. The hotel is near to Ambadi junction and information centre of Periyar Tiger Reserve is in walkable distance. One can book tickets in advance. Ticket counter for bus and boat rides are ~700 mtrs. Staffs are awesome and very helpful. Check in time is 12 PM but we reached Kumily around 8AM but upon request we got early check in with rooms upgraded with no extra cost. We stayed in Duplex. The rooms are neat and clean and beautiful with proper ventilation. Rooms having wood carvings all over and beautifully designed. They have in house restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, snacks & dinner with veg and non-veg option. They have a large parking area. Overall good experience and nice stay. Recommended for family/friends. Early check-in (As per availability) Neat and clean room. Service Staff behaviour Security In house restaurant Late check out (As per availability)

One of the oldest hotels of Thekkady (50 years by information), Classy and Heritage property. So good rooms with a feeling of vintage. And very good cooperation received from hotel authorities. Overall great and awesome experience. Due to many new hotels this hotel is not receiving the amount of guests it should, cause it's old. But the old architecture is so good, it's totally worth it, and it's quite cheap compared to the class of hotel it is.

it a hotel with very old and beautiful buildings but some are in poor condition, thankfully they started maintenence works already, restaurent also looks very beautiful, food options are limited but food was tasty, overall had a good time there

its a very good experience staying over here, the cottages were well maintained and cleaned and good looking also, the owner/manager of this hotel Saji Aliya is very friendly and helpful to the guests. overall its value for money hotel.
