Anaerangal Camp

Overall our stay at Anaerngal Camp was a good experience. We opted for this accommodation due to it proximity to Kolukkumalai tea estate. Cottage was well built. Had 24 hours running water and power. Gopan and team does a good job at ensuring all guests are taken care. They went out of the way to prepare few additional veg dishes for dinner just coz we had let them know of our cuisine preference. They arranged Jeep travel for visiting Kolukkumalai (sunrise view) with no hiccups. They have camping option as well. Would recommend giving them a call to get details before hand. It's an excellent option if you are a group of friends or family. Cons: Nothing major. Road work is in progress in many parts of munnar. Some are already completed. Last leg of approach road to the camp will need some repair as well; i believe that would be done in couple of months. Make sure your vehicle is in good condition in general if you are traveling to munnar. Few additional small utilities in the cottage would add to the comfort.. like a fan (though not all would use it), hangers for cloths and some decor like wall hangings. Calmness, beautiful location, security. Helpful staff.

This place just feel like heavenly! Enjoyed staying for two days in here, and had experienced my wonderful staying ever. For those who only looking for luxurious stay you may choose another place but those who really want to explore munnar, this is the best place you could ever get. In the morning you can see the river of clouds flowing through Just in front of you, you will also get a guided nature walk to their private spot( Bring a trucking shoe ). you can also book the Jeep to kolukkumalai from the hotel. my overall rating 10/10 safe for family and silent nature will give you your own space.

Simply enjoyed the camp. The accommodation & facilities was up to my expectation. In complimentary breakfast South Indian food was served & it was really nice. Parking space was provided to us inside the camp. It is not located in main Munnar town approximately 20-25 km far.

It was a pleasant stay with my family at Anaerangal Camp. The best part of this hotel is its location where you get stunning views. The location also makes access difficult through an unpaved road. But the climb is worth the view!
