The Beaumont plantation Retreat resort it was my first experience and I am very happy with it .The staff were very help full . we reached there around 10 pm at night and they were very help through out rooms very good and feelings like home there is a nice view from the resort morning mist beautiful land scape. There are some good places to go near by a water fall just few km away and some mountain top view points ....it's located around 15 km away from thekkady it's surrounded by village one amazing thing is that back side of the resort is tamil nadu and we get nice view of that plane land with lost of paddy cultivation for bachelor's it's a good place to spend some time with your friends and teams there is a option for camp fire etc and other out door activities that make a day full of enjoyment and make you guys refreshing...

We booked this property through goibibo, had great time over there. We took the valley view villa which had a good view . Service and staff were excellent . We had opted for campfire & barbecue. Yes the room size is small, but is sufficient for 2 people. Jose the Co-owner has good suggestion as in which places we should visit. Also to add we got complimentary jeep safari as well. Food is excellent over here(main chef is a guy called Sundaran). A good place to be as far as you are here to enjoy and you are not counting on each penny you are spending. I recommend this place for a peaceful stay!

We went as a couple for two days stay in this property, we booked thru goibibo and got offer price for kerala type cottage. Pros- Location was awesome, nice valley view from this location. Room was clean and tidy. Food was nice and tasty. Service was good. Location is away from hustle, we enjoyed waking up with music of birds. Cons - Its bit far away from thekkady. Room size was average, one queen size bed with little space around it that's all ull get. Only two persons it can accommodate. If you have an own vehicle and wont mind driving up and down to thekkady, you can choose this property.

Its a beautiful place for a quiet break. Beaumont has a staggering view of a valley in Tamil Nadu. From what I learnt, the resort is in Kerala and you see Tamil Nadu from there. I had to drive a little to the interior to get to the place, but it was worth the effort :). Service was good, food was awesome, and you have enough places to see around. They provide cycles if you want to see around a little. The highlight of the trip was the Jeep safari they took to another amazing view point. Overall, a great place for a weekend break.

Stayed in a traditional cottage. Room was big enough and classy. With a good view from the sit out area. Food and service was great. Hotel also provides cycling facility for the guests. it's also located near a good viewpoint. Ideal location for a prefect getaway. No restaurants nearby. local transport also not easy to find.

Services are good and prompt. ..Brilliant experience, and would surely recommend anyone who is looking for an outing away from the hustle and bustle of the city However, they do not offer even dormitory accommodation for drivers but assured complimentary breakfast and dinner for them. Toilet facility is there for drivers...

We stayed in traditional cottages. Rooms are very basic. The property also has only a few cottages. But it was a very nice experience to be close to nature and enjoyed the climate. There is a beautiful view point just behind the property. Food was very tasty and the staff were very nice. Overall a very good experience.

Location of the resort is around 10kms from town area. We took the valley view villa which was good with the view but room size did not fit the name. Service and staff were excellent. It is an excellent place to hang out with friends for a night with a nice sitting place and bonfire.
