FabHotel Gulshan International - Nr Peter Cat Park Street

I checked in into this hotel at late evening of 5th December around 9pm with my wife after long journey with expectation to relax leisurely for a night.... But I was shocked to find that the room snap showed while booking the room was totally different from room allotted to me. The room allotted had very shabby look & was looking worse than any local Lodge room. So when I confronted, I had been allotted another room but with two separate single bed. I was again disappointed. I asked hotel manager that we are a couple so need one double bed and further mentioned to him that my booking is for deluxe class & not standard one. So finally they provided one double bed room. So to get a normal room I had to struggle for around half an hour. Further to add my bitterness I found no wi-fi service available whereas I specially booked this hotel as while booking it was showing free wi-fi available. When I inquired at the reception desk, I found there is some problem with the network, so no service available. Now to spoil balance temperament, I found only single charging point available adjacent to bed was not working and in bathroom wash basin drainage was not clear, so water filled up in basin while washing face. When I compliant for the same I had been given one extension box to use for charging whereas for washbasin problem, the room service staff told bluntly that I have to bear it for night & tomorrow their respective staff will look into the problem. Well as I had a booking for single night & I was too tired to further compliant or fight with them. So I gave up.... Next morning when I visited their restaurent to have breakfast which was complementary, I had been given one toast & sandwich and I have been told that this is the only available complementary breakfast. So no choice for you to opt for in breakfast. I won't recommend this hotel to anybody....neither business traveller nor any family or couple.....

This hotel is located 1 hr from the airport and I had therefore hired a taxi to reach the hotel apart from the location, the hotel provided me with complimentary breakfast and wifi The rooms were very presentable and good to use. Amenities were provided to me to my expectations and in terms of view the room is good as well. The breakfast also tasted really well with quality and the wi-fi only worked in the lobby area .Overall a great stay in the hotel.

My stay here was not very pleasant. They even charge for water where as in all places I stayed early is complimentary. They will put newspaper only if you ask. The complimentary breakfast is horrible.Please don't take food from the restaurant which is well below par. The hotel is in a crowded place, but very close to all major areas that you may visit.

Location wise it's good. Rooms are small but cosy. Buffet breakfast is actually not there..you will be give two three food items to choose for ur food of choice and order. Wi-Fi doesn't work after 10pm to 9am. Toiletries restricted to soap n shampoo satchets. Staff's are friendly. Overall it's 3 out of 5.
