Thekkady is a bit more expensive and does not have enough hotels to compare to Alleppey and munnar. so this hotel seems a bit more expensive. The hotel has only 2 car parking. It is just in front of Thekkady periyar tiger reserve entry. The location is good, there are lots of nearby gujarati and north indian restaurants with good food. The hotel rooms are okay, but a bit old. Don't expect fancy furniture. The bathroom was clean. Tv doesn't have any channels except Malayalam language so it was not useful at all. The fan location is in the middle of the room, it should be on top of the bed. One cockroach may be due to the window being opened in the bathroom, not able to completely close the window. The owner asked us for the review too. seems like a nice guy.

i stayed here with family for 2 days. Ambiance is very nice, toilets and bed sheets are clean. TV was not working but that was not an issue for me and owner apologized for that. Courtyard is very nice. Cons: full of dust on the windows and grills and on mattress wooden frames, looks like not even cleaned those areas past 1 month. It seems they are cleaning only the floor and i asked the owner and he said since its in the side of a dusty road it will be like this only. And asked me to upgrade the room if i want a dust free room. ridiculous.....except this other things are ok

Best place to stay in Thekkady.....Boat Safari point , Elephant Ride , Kathakali show and Kalaripattu all at walkable 100-200 m distance....Host Uncle Joseph is very kind and helpful... Property is well maintained and is nice place to sit and relax... room are clean and tidy...highly recommendable

Not up to the mark. No intercom facility. we ourselves have to go and search for the owner for any requirements. only 1 staff is there in the full hotel. Reception nobody is available. Never ever we found anybody sitting at the reception. 1 person cannot run the show.

Ambiance and service is super and good. but worth for money is question ??? we booked for 3 but it's very small to occupy. ...??? we paid after all discount from Goibbo... Little bit difficult to find the location but managed. Better to stay for 2 person only.

It was an embarasment to stay. Beds were not clean. There were lizards. Its not a hotel but more like homestay. We made multiple requests for breakfast after which finally we got breakfast at 8:30 am. No tea/coffee in room. Service was poor and rude at times.

Owner Mr. Joseph is great, Guy .He treated us very well. Homestay is very near to the National Park and other important locations. Homw made authentic kerala. The food was great ,When you wake up in the morning, you will love the Garden view

House Stay is calm and relaxed. The rooms are very clean and neat. However, bit of follow up needed for room service. Very near to Periyar Tiger reserve. Also near to Kathakali, Elephant camp and Kalaripattu area.

Excellent Stay, very close to alk the traditional kerala shows. Joseph was really joyfull and he even upgraded us to a bigger room without extra charge. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Thekkady.

It is located in the main city area, so we can easily locate it.Staffs & services were pretty good and the room was neat & clean and it was comfortable as well.The stay was worthy and had a very good experience.

Service was bad. They didn't even provide water bottle despite repeated attempts/requests. Had to inform them once to start motor for bathroom water. Provided only one soap for a couple.

One of the best thing to do in Thekkady is to stay here. Mr. Joseph's Hospitality was awesome. Homely Food and staying in nature. Neat and clean rooms, classy stay, great ambience.
