Jungle Live inn Cottages

BEWARE BEFORE YOU BOOK. This hotel and goibibo don't have any co-ordination. I've been in big trouble because of them and my whole trip was messed up. 1) I booked this hotel on 5 June 2015 and travel date was 12th June 2015 2) I've booked three rooms with respective Booking Ids : HTLHNQYYBC, HTL9G5JW3J, HTLDZ3QQ7H 3) This hotel is located in Chail which is 42 KM from Shimla 4) I with my complete family was on my way to Chail and checking time was 12 PM, GOIBIBO called me at 11.30 AM on 12th June 2015 saying that HOTEL IS OVERBOOKED and we are sorry. Are you kidding me? 5) Then they offered us some other hotel which is in Shimla (ONLY and ONLY ONE option, I don't even have a choice). Either take it or get a refund. 6) Luckily I was travelling in my own vehicle so we switched the road for Shimla. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING, as we don't want to go Shimla. SURPRISINGLY they changed our destination completely because of their lack of communication. As we were having our own vehicles so we planned a trip to Chail and visited this hotel. Amazingly THEY have three room available but were available for 8000 Rs (on web site they are offering it for 5000 Rs). WHAT???? Because of Hotel owners greediness and GOIBIBO's lack of communication and co-ordination me and my whole family have to suffer a lot. I would recommend to make your booking with GOIBIBO very carefully and double check (or may be 5-6 times) on your bookings. REALLY A VERY BAD AND DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.

We stayed in the hotel cottages which is distant by 500 mt from the main premises which includes dining and activity area. The location of cottages is good but the maintenance is very poor and the worst part is even the service staff turn a deaf ear to your woes. The main premises consist of tents and rooms which are newly constructed . Both provide average amenities but the lawn for evening parties / bonfire is an advantage. Food is of average quality , may be being a connoisseur my expectations were little on higher side and was disappointed. The adventure activities are again average for kids n adults. My overall experience with the resort, staff and services is not satisfactory. Though I can give it 3/5 if corporate hang outs are arranged.

Excellent location where one can spend at least two days. But unfortunately we chose the wrong time. (Monsoon) Staff is excellent and helpful. Food was really great and homely. Will definitely recommend to my friends. And yes, thanks to the management for upgrading my room even when I did not ask for it.

No problems faced at all during my stay in this hotel ..from the checking-in to checking-out it went very smooth ..no complaints at all.. everything was top class for me..total value of money stay here..one of my best stay experience.
