The host Shibu is so humble and a gem. He helped us in booking kathakali, kallar and bamboo rafting. Property is located on the edge of the national park so no 7 star hotel can match the location and view you get from your private balcony. The rooms have all the basic amenities with 24 hour hot water. We saw bison, wild boar and many birds from our balcony. The property has coffee, avocado, banana trees. wonderful experience with Kerala House Home Stay. It is located on the border of the Periyar Tiger Reserve, and wildlife such as deer, boar, buffalo, and elephant can be seen from the vicinity of the residence. Excellent service from the owner of this property Mr Shibu. Mr. Shibu, the owner of this property, lives here, and his personality is very good, so the family can live here without any hesitation.

We have stayed only one day here. With a cheap rate we got very nice room. We booked a room with balcony. Nice view from balcony. Room was very specious, very neat and clean. TV was not there for that day, we didn't get time for that though. As this is a homestay you will not get reception or service that much. But the people are very nice. I will highly recommend for this hotel.

Great Location. Lots of food options available nearby. Very near to Periyar Tiger Reserve and boating activities. Host Shibhu was very helpful in planning our activities and also arranged transportation facilities for sightseeing. Martial arts show and Kathakali are also arranged on request. Neat room with great view from balcony. Overall a great experience.

Very good experiance,Location is excellent just after periyar forest,You can watch animals from your gallery,Shibu and his family is taking care of guests,They are very good at their job.He is always ready with the plan according to your need if ask for suggestion.No unnessary follow-up or put pressure on you to the activity according to him.

The rooms size are big enough.Shibu is a really humble and helpful person.Whenever we required any help he was always available. Breakfast was also good. They have partnered with one restaurant for breakfast.Overall nice experience Privacy we have liked.Also the view from Balcony was good.

The house backyard is open to jungle giving a peaceful view and the market is just outside the house. Also the rooms are big and clean. The owner was really very helpful throughout our stay.

Very good hotel. Mr Shibu the owner is very cooperative. Rooms are big. Just border of the Periar National Park. We have seen Sambar wild hog ducks from the hotel balcony.
